Thendo 1,088
Comes to show that city are'nt really that strong when they are forced to play a 36 year old Lampard (in a midfield 2!) vs one of the top 4 candidates.

bababoom 4,478
I'd rather a 36 year old Lampard play for City against Arsenal than Yaya Toure... now come on Arsenal fucking win.
iseah100 5,612
I feel ashamed for watching him. 2-2 Draw is my prediction. Hope frank scores though. Wait..no, I don't want to see him celebrate with those cunts. ChelseaFSee and darrus

Madmax 9,219
Watching him now just reinforced why I never understood the hue and cry over this move. I can understand it pricking on an emotional level but he's clearly well past it. He's NOT going to be the difference between us or City winning the title. didierforever, MrBlueGuy and Ainsley Harriott

bababoom 4,478
i always said in the big games i'd rather Lampard play for City than Toure or Fernandinho, they play so open it leaves Frank vulnerable.

He's NOT going to be the difference between us or City winning the title. It doesn't stem from his 'ability' it stems from the 'principle' of it, he's not Salomon Kalou he's Frank-Fucking Lampard.. Chelsea personified.. and he's playing for our title rivals. It was thought that Lampard had an affinity with the club, like JT.. but in actual fact he doesn't; actions speaks louder than words. robsblubot and Clevemayer

But there were posts here talking about how he could make vital contributions in the title race that could swing it City's way ... safe to say any such lingering concerns should've been put to bed today. That'd be really overstating the impact he's capable of making at this stage in his career.
