happy_juan 64
Look at your original post I replied to. It is pathetic and unreasonable and tbh I don't know why I bothered replying to such bullshit. I won't bother...You think it is easy to just say no to your national team? And at the same time keep appearing for your club? You have a long road ahead my friend.
happy_juan 64
no idea why he lets toure shit all over him. he is actually several kg heavier than toure.Like robguima said weight is not aggressiveness. Also factors like mobility, athleticism, desire to put in an effort etc. Phil Driver
Phil Driver 503
Anyone who saw our matches against City last season and still wants Lampard in the same stadium on Sunday needs his head checked! Anyone who saw the first half v Spurs and the play since will know Lampard and Ramires will play on Sunday and that will include Jose Mourinho and all others who understand football . The way to beat City is to push Toure back not sit and let him dictate the game and when we do get it make a slow 5 to10 yard pass sideways to a full back .The games in recent times v City have shown Toure walk all over Mikel who just sits back and lets Toure dominate ,we cant let that happen again ,Frank and Rammy will be taking the game to City backing up our three AM's with powerful running and quick forward passing . We need to press them not sit back and wait for them to score.

Magic Lamps 11,692
Frank on Loose Woman. Does that table symbolize a vagina?Feel the pride?Lamps is the king. Amazing how the media wanked about steven Gerrard getting that 100th goal. Lamps got his 100th ages ago. But this table with Lamps so fuckin high above all other scoring midfielders appearing n the media is the real good thing about that steve G "record". What for him is a lifetime achievement was only an intermediate step for Lamps. That tells you more about how seriously Yaya Toure takes the African Nations Cup.Disclaimer: never seen an african nations cup game.No. Yaya was bad in that game but only because Mikel owned the shit out of him. But for Nigeria Mikel's game is completely different

BlueLyon 9,359
Might say best Cfc player ever? I mean, Osgood, Dixon and co were all great players but football over last years had taken massive leap forward.Thank lord we had chance and honour to watch Frankie play for our club. kellzfresh 7,229
He is definitely our greatest player. For a midfielder to hold our club's highest goal scoring record and assist record is massive. I think he has the 2nd highest assists in the EPL ever. BlueLyon 9,359
I dont like to retire numbers but if there is one player I would do is Franks #8. We wont have such consistent, home grown player for next 50 years. Players like Frank are not born every day. His commitment to our club, his personality and achievments definately point to at least think about retiring #8. Its big number, but he is also a big player that deserves some kind of memorial. xPetrCechx

y10edn 185
http://youtu.be/1ftg9THp3ek: The Golden Generation of the Cote d'Ivoire finally came to the end of the road as they were usurped by Stephen Keshi's plucky Super Eagles at the King Bafokeng Stadium. Nigeria took the lead against the lethargic Elephants through a wonderful Emmanuel Emenike strike, before Cheik Tiote equalised with a header just after the interval. In an engrossing second half, Sunday Mba wrote his name in Naija folklore by finishing a hopeful run with a deflected finish past Boubacar Barry. For the first half of action it seemed like the Super Eagles had turned back the clock and rolled back the years. Gone was the timidity and the nervousness that had characterised their dull group encounters, the side looked bold and brave. In comparison, the Ivorians, so well-fancied before the tournament, looked laborious and lethargic – their casual approach matching the unprofessional nicknames on some of their shirts. With the interval approaching, Nigerian enterprise eventually paid off. Soon after Yaya Toure had been forced into a shoulder block to curtail Moses’s advance, the Super Eagles won a free kick 30 yards out. John Obi Mikel laid the ball off, and Emenike, with the weight of 19 years of anguish behind him, fired the ball over the wall into the goal. Perhaps Copa Barry in the Ivorian net should have done better, but few in Nigeria cared, as the finish sparking furious celebration among their massed ranks. The euphoria of the first half was not to last into the second. Moments after Salomon Kalou had been cautioned for simulation in the Nigerian box, Didier Drogba was brought to ground by Efe Ambrose. It was the Super Eagles’ moment to look inert, and they were promptly punished as Cheick Tiote headed the ball past Enyeama. The keeper promptly remonstrated with his static defence, but the damage had been done. The second half unrolled with both sides looking to attack, and creating a number of opportunities. Elderson went close with a blocked shot when Moses was perhaps better placed. The miss threatened to be costly, that was, until Sunday Mba decided to introduce himself into the game's narrative. Running boldly at the Ivorian defence, the striker, included at the expense of the likes of Peter Odemwingie and Obafemi Martins, sent a deflected shot up and over Boubacar Barry. It prompted ecstatic scenes in Rustenburg, as Stephen Keshi's men played out a nervy final ten minutes as the Ivorians pushed. John Obi Mikel must get a mention for a terrific tackle on Traore, but the whole team will be heralded as heroes after a glorious victory and well-deserved progression. They now face Mali in the semi-final on Wednesday.
y10edn 185
Mikel dealt with Yaya, Kalou, Tiote and Yes Drogba at the AFCON in January, this is a team game everyone is required to put in their best from keeper to striker. whenever the team plays like this Mikel always stands out: Nou camp 2009, Munich final, Spurs away last season, Everton this season despite the loss due to loss of concentration. Mikel will never be accepted by all but whilst he still plays for CFC we should support and hope he becomes a better player which he definately can. I am yet to see a stronger physical Midfielder in this clime. CHOULO19
Korea 734
Feel the pride?I never understood how they differentiated a midfielder vs striker in England.....Cristiano is consider a midfielder at Man United, but a stiker at real madrid. Similar to Mata when he was in spain vs here...IMO, cams, wingers and cf should all be consider strikers...

ChelseasMessiah 304
Game after game, our midfield continues to be nothing but a red carpet for top sides to walk all over.Lampard has been a complete spectator yet again, fernandinho has turned him inside out numerous times, their mifielders are having a field day with the acres of space in front of our back four.
