Sheva. 5,373
The mistake he made in this game was just so stupid.
termninja 5,290
Im not defending the mistake but if Alex, Ivan or Terry did it it would have just been brushed under the carpet. Even Bosingwa doesnt get derided like that for error's although i guess that's because were use to them Well yeah because they do it less often then our crazy brazilian and because they have a good reputation and big name on them Luiz is still building his own and yes sometimes he receives more criticistm then he should, but he is far from being a secure CB. If he played for 2-3 years consistently well the next time he made a mistake people wouldn't notice it as much as they do now.Simple comparison today. LUIZ makes a terrible mistake and TERRY saves the goal. Of course people are going to slate Luiz more then JT.Bosingwa doesn't get slated as much as Luiz? You are not being objective there, I doubt anyone on the forum is feeling calm when he sees him start and he gets slated even when he actually does well. To some people, he is the next person who should leave the club.
Nic! 301
@Sh0n3x - In the very little minutes Lukaku got, is there something worth sharing about his game? Positive, negative. On Chelsea TV radio, the commentators said his movement was good but then the action after his good running line when he got the ball was mediocre. On Chelsea TV radio, the commentators said his movement was good but then the action after his good running line when he got the ball was mediocre.Well he barely had the time to do something, but he made a few runs and he looked good. Reminded me of Sturridge last season when he tried really hard to impress. He did fine, but there's not much to say really. He had one great run on the left wing after which he sent a good cross to Frank if I remember right, but Pompey defense cleared it. Besides that, a foul when trying to win a header and a few good runs. Nothing spectacular and nothing bad.Shame we couldn't score the 2nd goal eariler, he would've had more time to contribute
The Rising Sun 711
I Think we should let RDM go at the end of this season and replace him some well established assistant coach....ray wilkins types...I think RDM adds fuck all to our team and a more authoritative respected and experienced assistant coach will do us a world of good....That will also allow AVB to flourish and will give him a good balance of both sides.... never thought much of RDM as a coach earlier, still dont .Our team NEEDS a top quality assistant coach. With all the changes going on, it is the most important, as the manager is making alot of big decisions and changes.... If someone like Ray Wilkins is there to communicate and put those changes into action, the transition will be easier and more successful. In other news, Just watched the match on CHELSEA Tv..... We are the most boring team in possession to watch.... It is suffocating to watch us in possession. This is more than just an assumption about RDM. Di Matteo was in charge of WBA and did a very good job with them, he was very unlucky to be fired when he was. He started the season really well & was undone by a patch of tricky fixtures. So if anyone's a great coach, I'm sure it's him. And I've seen André & Roberto discuss a lot in games where as Carlo & Clement (for example) did not.Di Matteo was André's choice. Why would we want to fire his back staff, that he handpicked?

eldo 868
Wow. This guy knows nothing about RDM's job at Chelsea and he says Roberto doesn't bring anything to Chelsea.Amazing.Coyle fucked up with Wiess aswell so it 2-2 in that respect. AVB has done wonders with Danny but so far (can't stress that word enough) hasn't done as good as we hoped with Josh and Ryan so in that respect its 1-2.Seaking of that surely AVB deserves credit for blooding Sturridge?Ive heard a lot of people on here mention about how good Fergie is when he brought Cleverly into the team this season but that was on the back off a loan just like Danny's was, yet AVB gets slated for his youth and use Fergie's promotion of Cleverly as an example of what he should be doing even tho AVB did the same with Sturridge.Yes it would be nice to see Josh, Ryan and co more but Sturridge was the youth, borderline first team player that needed to be uterlised in the team first and AVB has found a place for him and i fully trust that in time he will do the same for those 2.And Romeu too. But he is "going" to Barca anyway so it doesn't matter.

eldo 868
Are you talking about me>? Who else suggested that we need to sack RDM? you should apply for the job, looks like you know more about it than AVB and RDM together.

I must be watching some other team because i cant see much change in the way we play halfway into the season, not even a hint of a change in style,.... the only thing that changed, failed and reverted back to the old way, i,e. high line.RDM was the manager, whose better abilities were making decisions, while his assistant coach got the team into RDM;s groove. His experience as an assistant before chelsea was zilich. There are people who specialise in Assistant manager positions, and there is a reason for that. That said, i am not against him. It is upto Everyone at the club to turn it around.
HRiver 1,512
Nice victory, but I'm a bit disappointed with Avb in this one for not giving Lukaku a few minutes more.

Kajo 176
Bertrand played about 10 mins and Lukaku got 3-4 mins..I start to thinking that if CFC will not start scoring for 3-4 goals in the first half youngster will never get chance to play at our club tbh.
