Nemanja Matic rules out return to Chelsea

Former Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic has ruled out a return to Stamford Bridge - for this season at least.

Matic told The Guardian: "Frankly, I want to stay another year in Lisbon.

"Of course, someone like Jose Mourinho wanting me to go back to London would be an opportunity to prove that I can play in the Premier League, but I want to achieve more at Benfica, particularly in the big games."

Okore gone to Villa.

Know a lot of people thought we might be in for him but apparently not.

Okore said he rejected a deal to Chelsea in January because he feared he wouldn't get enough playing time. Good deal for Villa though and a great move for him.

I think he's looking at Villa as a spring-board to a bigger club.

Another young guy as well, but with good experience for his age. Could see him going well in this league too.

Not the type of signing we really make anymore, but for a club like Villa it's pretty excellent.

with the cavani fiasco over atlast, we can get back to reality. none of the so called WORLD-CLASS strikers are available now (falcao, lewa, cavani) so i would rather go with lukaku and BA or lukaku and dzeko as our main men.

our main problem is yet to be addressed at all which is the midfield and with the options of essien, lamps, romeu, mikel and RAMBO, just cant see us adding another guy in the area.

hence the likely in/outs -

outs- ferreira, malouda, turnbull, hilario, yossi, torres, ba, marin, kakuta, bruma.

in- schurlle, goalie (good 2nd choice goalie), dzeko.

squad-

GK - cech, X, blackman

defenders- JT, luiz, cahill, iva, cole, bert, azpi, kalas.

pivot- lamps, mikel, romeu, essien, rambo

front 3 - MAZACAR, schurlle, kdb, moses

strikers- lukaku, dzeko.
