Laylabelle 9,534
Former Chelsea boss Avram Grant has urged the club not to sack manager Andre Villas-Boas.The 34-year-old Portuguese, who was only appointed in June, has come under pressure after three defeats in five games left Chelsea fifth in the Premier League, 10 points off the top.But Grant told BBC Sport: "It's tough times there but they signed a coach that deserves support."The results are not so good but they need to give him time. They need to give him all the support that he needs."It's one of the things you need to give a new manager, especially him because he's young. He's facing new situations."''

manpe 10,861
It would be great if you could post link to the source.. anyway, found it already: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/15984253.stmWho's next? termninja 5,290
This is not good. Last time Fergie said Carlo needs to stay and...bam he was sacked I dunno, if AVB keeps bringing bad results, with Hidink being available and our board being our board I wouldn't be surprised, but still I believe chances are high that AVB will stay. HRiver 1,512
How would Hiddink improve the team anyway? He can't do miracles. When he got appointed all of the players which are now out of form were on fire. Lampard was brilliant back then, so was Drogba, so was Anelka, so was Malouda and so was Terry. He is old now to be our manager and old players + an old manager is definitely not a good combination.Even if we got him it would be for a short term, he'd most probably stay for a season and then he would go. But then who would Roman go after for? We would be with no choices left. AVB needs time, support and trust. He was the perfect choice and he will show that to every fan and to the whole club, eventually.
