Cosmin 2,484
I feel terribly terribly sorry for Torres ... No matter what he does the Ball simply doesn't cross the line ;(He does everything but hitting the ball properly. I like him and I want him to play good for Chelsea, but it's been almost a year and we're still wating for the old "El Nino" to shine again. For how long do we still have to find excuses for him? xPetrCechx 13,570
We don't have a normal Striker in our team... it's so embarrassing!!!Nice Result but bad game... at least clean sheet.... we will not go forward to much with this kind of game. manpe 10,861
We were EXTREMELY lucky in that game. Okay Sturridge should have had a penalty, maybe 2 penalties. But that near own-goal from Ivanovic? That's called luck of the highest order. And that interception by Alex to dismiss Yakubu from going 1-on-1. And the Cech saves from the free-kick, the second save was lucky (bburn player hit it right at Cech's leg).I call it a lucky clean sheet, against better opposition we would've crumbled I'm afraid. But I must say, what a cross by Ivan... Bosingwa would've hit the corner flag more probably.

bloody 209
I've had so much patience, now im getting frustrated with him (Torres) , could have cost us the game if they go up the other end and scoreif thats so then sturridge should take some of the blame. he missed 3 chances. dodojojo 510
One of those days when 3 points is more than important than the performance. Torres should have done a diving header for the last one. The ball was too high and hence the sky high miss. Team still has issues creating good chances regardless of who's the CF. Rambo 1,729
It's pretty clear for me. Torres + Chelsea = not gonna work. At least as long as we don't have a good midfield line and a decent playmaker.Unlike Drogba, Torres can't really produce much on his own.
Kieran. 6,317
Torres should have headed that chance, imo.Good result.

BlueLion. 21,491
Well, what a sight for a sore eyes that is.A first clean sheet in the Premier League since August ensures that we return to winning ways after our double derby-day disappointment that saw October come to a stuttering close. A faltering performance in Belgium will not have improved the team's confidence, but this is a win that has all the hallmarks of the efficient, robust Chelsea of yesteryear. A compact, resolute defensive performance crowned by a masterclass by Petr Cech will no doubt be a massive morale booster heading into the international break, and a case study in clinical brilliance was delivered via the forehead of Frank Lampard to meet Branislav Ivanovic's excellent cross from out wide. This is the sort of result we can be proud of. Chelsea under AVB will champion a newfound sense of adventure and play all-out attacking football, but the battling performances away to the likes of Blackburn can define a season. Last season we showed remarkable character to come from a goal down at Ewood Park; this season, similar courage was on view. It's always a tight old tussle against Rovers, and this is a result to saver. The complaints will come rolling in that we were too lethargic, perhaps even insipid in an attacking sense, but that was the sign of the Chelsea of old - and, more importantly, the gap between us, Arsenal and Liverpool is a relatively healthy three points.Frank Lampard statline: 1 goal, 4 shots, 89% (63/71) passing including 25/31 in the final third, 2 chances created. He's far from done!
dodojojo 510
again Torres' miss will overshadow our win in the media articles Was it any worse than Lampard's miss against Genk? I've not paid much attention to the media this week. Did they replay it constantly?
