He's definitely not one of my favourite players and maybe Chelsea could have sold him in the summer...to make his future a bit brighter and a bit easier.

Even though I don't like the way he plays for Chelsea FC, he is a human with feelings and emotions and he doesn't deserve to be personally attacked. No Football Player out there deserves to be abused on a personal level.

While I admit, I don't want Kalou at this club and have been saying so for the last 3 season (like many)

I don't agree with certain comments like death threats and such.

But let's not get too sentimental here, he's still a very bad player.

I think we can all agree that no athlete deserves any disrespect especially in the form of personal abuse. It's really shameful, those tweeters are not football fans.

Not to get technical here, but it’s actually the opposite, Kalou fans are supporting his personality/character etc. The sympathy isn’t based on football reasons. So in actual fact, those twitter abusers are the real 'football fans', and the Kalou supporters are the opposite.

You can guess what kind of fans we have when we abuse our own players. He didn't even play that much this season,i feel sorry for him.We can't shit all over our players and making them leave, what the fuck is wrong with our fans? He isn't the best player you will ever see,he won't go down in the Legend section but he did enough to have my gratitude. If i were him i would leave in the summer.

I hate bullying, but it's kalou, I can't and won't feel sorry for him, I don't think I can feel sorry for someone on that much money.

Out of curiosity, what is the income threshold beyond which you stop feeling sorry for someone?
