Makaveli 59
Can't stop crying . This is biggest tragedy in hockey world. R.I.P to all people that passed away. Our national hero Pavol Demitra was also in the plane:( Can't believe he is gone. Truly slovak hero with big heart. He did so much for slovakian hockey. Damn, life's a bitch ;[ This is the retirement from National team, after the last match of 2011 World Championship in Slovakia. He just wanted to make Slovaks happy, but it didn't end well. Fans didn't care and said huge thanks for everything he did. And this interview. So sad.

warnie_666 1,081
What is it with Russian planes and crashes? The fighter jets our Govt purchases from them (Sukhois and MIGs) are very accident prone too. What a tragedy. RIP.They are accident prone cus of the second class spares the government purchases for these planes. You dont hear many Sukhoi and MIG crashes in Russia and China. Sukhoi's are one of the best Fighters if not the best.Russian Tupelov Aircrafts are considered to be the most accident prone and its a major aircraft manufacturing company in Russia and majority of the domestic aircrafts in Russia are Tupelov and hence the high accident rates. Milan 17,993
Terrible Today, the only player who survived the crash died. Given the serious injuries to his body, it is unfortunately no surprise.

TorontoChelsea 4,064
Still a shock. It was obviously huge news here in Canada where hockey is a national obsession. Players like Demitra, Rachunek, and Salei had excellent careers in the NHL and were well known. Horrifically tragic.

Ollie 4,400
RIP, absolute horrible news. What's it gonna take for something to get done about their poor record? Is this really what that were waiting for? Shocking.

Players like Demitra, Rachunek, and Salei had excellent careers in the NHL and were well known. Horrifically tragic. They definitively deserved that kind of media presence. It makes me angry when I think about what happened one year ago when the Austrian journos didn't give a fuck about legends like Demitra, they rather published "news" about some Hollywood celebrities. It's the biggest tragedy in the history of this sport! Show some respect for the people who died in that plane crash!
