Special Juan 28,141
Well, fuck me sideways and call me Susan. People whinge that the staff don't do enough and I step in just to make sure a shit storm doesn't start and I'm treated in a condescending way.Excuse me for trying to keep things calm before anything starts. I can't predict how a conversation will end up but with the track record in some of thes topics I'd have to be forgiven about taking a pre-emptive action to make sure people don't go nuts. In the future, I'll just switch back to holding my cock in my hands and hoping nothing happens. All I said was 'settle down', Jesus titty-fucking Christ. It was calm, it was debate, not heated, no name calling and you come in and say what you did. There was no need to keep things calm, it was already calm.Members should be fully aware now of any stupid behavior won't be tolerated, and if they are stupid enough to do so then let the implications take effect. That's when a mod comes in when it's off track, yet for me you have come in and got heckles up without any apparent reason."All you said was settle down" There wasn't anything to settle. DJames 729
I think this whole fiasco is affecting Mata hopefully it will motivate him rather than create an unbalanced situation in the dressing room or with him leaving. In his blog today he doesn't mention winning on Saturday but he referenced Mikel goal later on. He only talked about the two previous losses and a hope for a win at Swindon. Geez, man I've only been doing this for like three days, cut me some slack. Not up in arms about it one bit, just merely making a point. I have congratulated you in your role here, don't take everything to heart. We here are trying to keep everything debatable and help mods and their jobs as easy as possible. The debate was on track and civil, you can over look things by joining in or keeping an eye things from a distance.I'm done here as it's now well off track, so once again good luck in your roll and don't take things to heart. He won´t say anything derogatory towards the club. This club does not need an unbalance situation now.I didn't and won't expect him to be derogatory about the club. He usually talks about wins whether he's apart of it or not I just found it strange that he didn't even mention the game. The way he mentioned Mikel you'd think he scored in some imaginary match. That's why I said I think he maybe unsettled about everything that's going on. Indeed it does not but discontent often results in strife. bushman 2,043
To me it seems very unfair to Mata that he is being asked to prove himself & against Swindon.I have never thought Mata would be in a position at Chelsea where he is literally fighting for his future. The_Flash 1,144
It must be heartbreaking, everything is going brilliant, awards galore, then totally unwanted for no reason. Makes me sad, god knows how he feels.

It was bolded too so from that I'll hold out on saying he'll leave in January. I think he'll try his best to adapt to what Mourinho wants. The_Flash 1,144
i Wish Jose would give him like a full game, and I wish he could put all this behind him and get a wee goal even, really show him. I am very sad he has been so shunned. We have many many worse players still playing

Gilvorak 3,734
Why are people acting like playing out wide is beneath him? He played that position in Valencia up until the year Silva left and did so under AVB during his first season here. Similar level of players like Isco, Cazorla, Silva etc also play on the flanks.Tactically, physically and defensively is the far better better option in the middle. He simply offers the balance Mata can't give us.Didn't agree with him dropping Mata from the squad entirely but if this 'tough love' treatment finally gets Mata to participate in defending so be it. I expect him to dominate on Wednesday and start against Spurs. Blue Armour and kellzfresh

An attack line of RVP and Ronney with Mata just behind them would be lethal and they have midfielders to do the protection and dirty work. But Moyes may need to change his way a little bit. But Moyes may need to change his way a little bit.I disagree, Kagawa doesn't get any minutes with United and Rooney is technically their #10. Mata would be forced to play winger and United always had pacy wingers (Ronaldo, Giggs, Nani, Valencia, even Young)....The best team would of been Tottenham, but that boat has passed. Definitely agree with you there. Kagawa is their most technically gifted player and he would really do a lot for them creatively. Fortunately, for us, Moyes doesn't see this from any point of view.
