Buy back the same player for another £21 million.Sell our player of the year for 2 years running to one of our arch rivals without even putting a foot down.I wonder what next... sell Courtois to Atletico for £5m and let Barcelona sign David Luiz..It makes me sick to see United fans jizzing all over these Mata rumors.seriously... It's like half the forum is PMSing We're getting 40m pounds for a guy who has mostly sat on the bench this season and he's a great guy and great player who is getting the playing time he deserves. It's easy to dismiss the point of majority being not against selling as such but selling to ManUtd during January transfer window. We do not need the money, for a club like Chelsea the annual income does not involve selling world class players just to rake in 10mil extra. Juan's image and persona make him a very marketable person among not only Chelsea fans. If we can't use the funds to make a change right away, I can't see the point of intentionally becoming weaker. I'm just surprised that Mata hasn't planned talks with Mourinho to discuss his future at the club before any of these rumors started to happen.Seems as though he's not willing to do that and if he wants to go, let him go. I feel angry that we let him go to a rival, no matter how much money, we have sold to a club that messed us around and didn't want to sell one of their players to us. I hope some sort of Rooney clause is in the deal but I very much doubt it!Sad to see him go, obviously. He was my favourite player since he arrived. Brilliant to watch. But he hasn't been playing! So hopefully it won't burden us too much, with a possible replacement or even loan recalls for either Moses or Piazon. I guess I better think of a new screen name now..it's all go Never a dull day as a Chelsea fan. We knew we wouldn't be able to keep all this quality in attacking midfield happy. Not something that is good. But the small bright side for this season is we have already played united. So United should be harder to beat and more likely to take points from City and Arsenal...
