CurlyHairLikeLuiz 1,625
Cesc and Mata together are a disaster waiting to happen in Premier League. We'd be outplayed in the midfield every single match. Mata issues with pressure goes beyond learning workrate, he just doesn't suit this style. Oscar literally has no interference on that. Mata would be a cuadrado a Player we use at the end of some matches depending on what we needed. It actually surprises me a lot someone can even wonder a Mata Cesc partnership seriously. We'd be overran easilyHaha, not what I was saying. Rather that they could interchange, since we have no similar replacement for Cesc.Agree though. Pizy 18,914
Looks like he's in the exact same situation now as he was here when José arrived. Can't buy a start.Fucking Fellaini is preferred in his position now.#freeMata

I think a move to Atletico or a return to Valencia are more likely destinations.

I don't think Mata would fit any of those teams.
Muzchap 8,966
It's a shame - he has two great feet and scores some good goals.I just don't see him working here - maybe Italy? It's a crying shame though. It's definitely something that can be improved on more than the physical strengths etc. Muzchap

Its like saying Southampton are the 8th best team in England or Hoffenheim are the 10th best team in Germany or whatever, sure they might be but the difference is huge still especially in Spain.A player like Mata would play for a lot of the bigger teams in England, Spain and Germany. He'd fetch 20-25M easily.

Of course he's a CL quality player... some people seem to think hes shit now a days that he doesn't play for us but he was playing better than Silva was for City in his first 2 years in the PL. Not a CL quality team but about Mata's level jesus commilin, iseah100 and Muzchap
Atlas Lion 1,223
Villarreal could potentially challenge for the title next season and Mata would only make them better. Once Cheryshev goes back to Real, Villareal could use Mata as that supporting striker/ attacking midfielder. --------------------Vietto-------------------------------------------Mata----------------------------------------Dos Santos------------------Giovanni Dos Santos--------Pina-------------Soriano------------------------ iseah100
