I'm confident if we sign Drogba as player/coach that he will talk with Lukaku about his decision to stay or go and convince him to fight for his place and stay with Chelsea, Lampard also signed new contract last year just before Mourinho become our manager, Mourinho again doing some smart moves.

The fridge or big Rom will prove his worth this season. I always had faith Mourinho had plans for him. If he doesn't score more than 20 goals this season ill be very surprised.

He didn't think he'd get a FAIR chance. how is scoring more goals than Torres and Ba in WBA the year before not deserving of a chance?

Not in isolation, if our basis for picking strikers are there better than Torres we might as well have left a written offer for Akinfenwa on the way out of Wimbledon.

your logic doesn't make any sense. If you have 2 players on your squad and one is better than the other, you play the better player. Lukaku believed he was better than Torres but he still didn't get to play over him. IMO that's considered not getting a fair chance. Morinho obviously saw more in Torres than in Lukaku, but you cant expect Lukaku to sit around and let Mourinho determine his career path.

I'm not saying he didn't get a fair chance cause i honestly dont know, just saying Lukaku probably didn't think he got a fair chance

As much as I'm a fan of his, that seems quite impossible. Except when Costa gets injured for months or so, which I of course wouldn't wish on him...

Right decision IMO, at least now Lukaku and Jose can sit down together and have a proper man to man talk about what's going on with his situation. If they come to an agreement and both of them are happy for Lukaku to stay then that's great but if their relationship is still not good enough, he can always be sold later in the window and we'll still easily get around £20m for him so there's no hurry to sell him just yet.

If the end result is him going to Everton I'd perhaps even go as far as delay the transfer until deadline day because we'll be playing them at the Goodison near the end of August and it wouldn't be ideal to face him so soon.

Would be great if Jose speaks to him man to man and lukaku makes a realistic demand of making 40appearances and 15-20 starts, while making a realistic stake for a first choice place.

Rom has his qualities but he can be frustrating as well. He's poor with his back to the goal and he's a poor pass receiver in the target position. As long as people accept this and don't get angry when he's playing poorly then you'll feel much better :). He'll still cause lots of problems and will be terrifying on counters.

His mouth is way too big, and it seems he believes he is better he really is, I'm afraid if he is not getting too many chances, he will start to act like a cunt and will ask for a move. At his age, the best thing for his career is stay at Chelsea until he get the opportunity. If he is not getting enough chances he can leave in 2 or 3 years. He still would be 24.

this "situation" is not realistic.

Jose would never give in to a demand like that nor would Lukaku make 40 appearances. Chelsea have a million ams that would be the primary position getting rotated/substituted in the games.

Maybe 40appearances was too much, but about 30 is realistic. Mourinho is a man who rotates his strikers well. He'll get about 15starts IMO if he's patient.
