The kid is 20yo and is still in a learning period. At Everton, he has enough playing time and space to commit the kind of mistakes that will be crucial to his development, while stil scoring important goals.

He proved himself at WBA and is proving himself at Everton.

Lukaku will return to Chelsea as a much better than when he first came...

BT Sport gave him MOTM anyway. He had some flaws but look at what he contributed. Goals! That is what you want from a striker. Falcao does not do much in games but he normally scores like a striker should and that is what Lukaku done. I would like to have a striker who can have off days but still perform with a return of goals. Shame they did not win as that would of been a magnificent way to write himself in Mersyside derby history. While he is scoring goals at Everton that is good but I have no idea he would of eventually bang in the goals for us had we kept him but oh well, hope to see him do it more for Everton and come back next year and be given a proper chance which he deserves!

Not really, I still stand behind my point. I know Lukaku can score goals, he's a natural born goal scorer, like I've said many times before he's not gone out on loan to prove he can score goals. He's gone out on loan to improve his general play and to do the right thing in moments such as the one where he really should've done better with the final ball in the counter.

Maybe Skipper .... I think Lukaku will never be a complete player. He will always be a pure bred goalscorer with quasi limited technical ability.

Whether he is better or not is irrelevant. In Mourinho's eyes, would Lukaku have even been first choice? Would he be having the same impact for us coming in and out of the team every week?

Fantastic loan move for him and US in the long term, not to mention taking points off teams around us in the process.

You're embarrassing really - what do you think he was doing at West Brom last season he was scoring goals coming in and a sub.

Do you even follow our loaned players or just make shit up as you go?

Just because Jose is our manager doesn't mean his decisions are always right - so far Lukaku is proving him wrong on the field

For me Eto'o is better although Lukaku is producing more goals atm.
