Could be water under the bridge now and Lukaku is a much better player now than he was back then so Mourinho wouldn't be afraid to play him nowadays but somehow I still doubt he'd want to join Mourinho at United as his first choice if the alternative is to return to the club he supposedly 'loves' and supported as a kid. Chelsea just need to come up with an acceptable offer and he's ours, no doubt about that.

I would do the same if I was Mourinho, that penalty was kindergarden tier, one of the worst shots I've ever seen.

Just yesterday we had that report saying that Conte wants Lukaku "at any cost, whatever it takes." 

Though I'm sure Mourinho would have him there, the timing of these new rumors is pretty suspect. Like maybe Raiola wants things to be resolved ASAP.

why are people talking about Belotti as though it will be easy to get him when the obvious one available (Morata & Lukaku) our getting difficult day in day out to land. 

Like dele alli and harry kane so belotti is and that is Unbuyable at the moment. I keep wondering why no one is makking a move and i realise he won't leave this summer. If he would i am surewe would have seen him holding an AC Milan shirt by now. No club seems willing to be the first to land a 100m player and thats how torino prices him

But let's go for Belotti instead. Clearly proven himself. 1 season. A smaller, less physical and less skilled player than Lukaku. But he isn't Lukaku so he is automatically better.... lol.

Lukaku isn't a bad striker, but imo he is missing some talents to lead the line for a top european side.
Belotti is certainly not less skilled than Lukaku. His link up play and football IQ are clearly superior to Lukakus, which means we could get the best out of the likes of Hazard, Pedro and Willian. It was frustrating enough to see Costa failing to combine with our attacking midfielders, so a player with even less technique like Lukaku would be a hard time. Not to mention that Lukaku doesn't offer Diegos great runs.
