Good question, I imagine it would be dependant upon who leaves this summer. I'm sure it would be massively beneficial to him to work with Drogba for a year (providing he stays), although he'd be behind Torres, Drogba, Sturridge (assuming Anelka leaves us). Sturridge could potentially occupy the right wing in a 4-3-3, which means Lukaku would be 3rd choice striker, and therefore would expect a handful of opportunities to ease him into the league.

He's 18 today btw.

Had a dream last night where there was Lukaku, Luiz and someone else (someone who wants to play for bayern munich as their number 9?) and they were doing a photo shoot in shirts of their dream clubs and Lukaku was in a Chelsea shirt and I spoke to him and he said he wants to join Chelsea but when the time is right and he was worried that he'd never be as good as Drogba.

Roman Abramovich is said to have had a meeting in the morning with the directors and outlined his plans. He is to have said he wants the following 'more attacking football' 'Barcelona like', 'quality players', 'younger squad'. Player exits were mentionned as was Uefa's financial fair play policy. Chelsea are also in 'close contact' with Christophe Henrotay agent of Lukaku and are confident they can sign him.
