Fulham Broadway 17,720
So our club had agreed personal terms but Everton (according to the media) aren't happy with us because of the Stones debacle. I had a soft spot for them, being the other scouse club and all, well fuck 'em Hopefully take six points of them now. RoyalBlues

When he leave Juve for MU? exactly like Lukaku case, they paid overprice for him. Never worth 89m. The true value is set automatically after some time. If now he want to leave MU, his price will go down for sure, also because the player want the move. 12 minutes ago, Chelsea Legend 11 said: How much you think Verratti will go for to Barca? Leif 6,006
She negotiates - she doesn't target the players, 'he' does; and it's our targets who are sub-par, not anyone's fees, nor the excellent amount of money we've been getting from our sales. There's no heat or microscope to put on her.

Pogba and Stones in 15/16 as well - really poor players to target. Let's ignore the fact that since Gourlay left, we have been extremely meek in the transfer window. MefiX19 and kellzfresh

Verratti wants the move too.  If u can explain pogba you can explain verratti. Funny enough all our midfielders All involve different teams from different countries. So I am not sure what you mean. She negotiates, she doesn't decide how much Chelsea can pay for a player. The board as a group decides how much they are willing to pay for a player. And it is her job to negotiate that aligns with those views. Barbara, Peace. and the wes

The deal involving MU for sure has any effect, for their sake themselves. Don't see any point why Verratti from PSG to Barca has any connection with Pogba or Lukaku deal, involving Juve, MU and Everton in the first place. Mind you Everton has accepted the bid, not the player has agreed personal term or something. Yes, he want to leave, but he hasn't tell he will want to join MU yet. What I've wrote is when the player has expressed his desire to move to certain club, it will change the price when that club make a bid. Everton bought him 28m from us, unless he win PL title every year for Everton since then, no way his valuation went up that high. Everton set the price take it or leave it price and with his agent help, MU bite the bait, lol. It should not have any effect on other deals at all. Again, that is happened on their own world. What you are saying does not make sense. If it was in this transfer market that we sold lukaku to everton, we would have probably sold for not less that 40m so I don't get it when people say he is not worth it when he has had 3yrs of first team football. This is the idea of Chelsea fc. If they could get their loanees to get playing time like Lukaku has done we would have been selling the likes of atsu traore and Ake for 30m each in this transfer market. Example after Christensen's 2yr loan Chelsea is said to be only interested in bid above 30m for him from inter Milan who have shown interest. So let face the music as a club and stop pussying around. oldportblue 547
all you guys saying in here lukaku isn't worth X or Y amounts... a player is worth what someone is willing to pay for him, and with the new tv money and players going for inflated prices everywhere, it's natural that prices for top players skyrocket, it's supply and demand akgw13, kmk108, SinineUltra and 1 other

Read all the reaction in social media and most agree that Lukaku not worth 75m. End of. Because most are Chelsea fans and Carma is not. Chelsea wants to partially own players. What I mean is while most use the loan system to get players Chelsea uses it for more money. Chelsea want to have loanees being star players in other teams so for example if coutinho was a Chelsea loanee because of how established he has become PSG will want to buy him for 60m and who gets the money Chelsea and every drop of it. You get it. There is no space for coutihno cause Chelsea will prefer to sell him than to use him and when they receive the money they will use it to buy 1 first team player and 10 players to fill the loan system all worth just some 35m(barrier as other put it) and it goes on and on. Now if you are a club and u buy a player from Chelsea who probably was a failed project in the system for 28m and you fix and patch the player up and give him an instant starting place in your team for 3yrs no competitor and he finally becomes the guy Chelsea were trying to make him be u will milk any club who want him because you gave him the time to develop not them and we all now that time is money. This justifies his price and not only his performance but the time you too to build him. If we were going for lukaku 2yrs ago we would be paying maybe 40m. Next year his price will go higher whether he wins any titles or not so will dele alli and harry Kane and belotti and dembele and mbappe and the list goes on.
