bushman 2,043
I doubt, Lukaku is willing to sign an extension to his contract. Most likely, he wants to run out his current deal & walk out of Chelsea.
Miki-Liki 405
Azpilicueta didn't get a single minute in those two games yet kept working and working and hey presto, ended up one of the best players in our season and will probably be starting for the defending world champions in the World Cup. He's a talented young player but has a lot still to prove to even be considered as #1 here, yes i know he scored a lot of goals for the 5th best team in England, so did a certain Seneglese striker in 2012, now who's that again? With the team's profile, especially with the youth of our AM's, Eto'o was a better option, look up the impact he made on Hazard and the link up play they shared, a 20 year old leading the line with 22 year olds behind him just simply wouldn't have worked. I have hope for Lukaku and really don't want him sold, at the same time do i believe loaning him out cost us the title? no i don't and nothing will convince me otherwise. So? But he did start a game later on. A proper chance in my opinion means actually starting a game. Against Hull for example, we had a 2-0 lead, and by the time he came on, nobody was playing. The loan was a good move for him, got enough play time (more than he would've got had he stayed, look at Ba for example) to get called up for the World Cup. Every player should think of what's best for them...Not sure if it's true, but I'll just put it here.Lukaku : "I only know one thing and that is that, in my opinion, Chelsea are still the biggest club in England. And they have a very, very good manager! I have a contract with Chelsea after this summer and I am not focusing on any move to Atletico.”

Azpi waited months and got his reward. He would have probably been rotating with Eto'o by Christmas. Regarding the quotes, i haven't jumped on any of them, you can check my posting history. YouNameIt 1,511
Send Torres to the reserves IF we cannot sell him and play costa lukaku and whoever is gonna be third. zolayes
DROGBAtheGOAT 29
Send Torres to the reserves IF we cannot sell him and play costa lukaku and whoever is gonna be third.I would be all for Costa, lukaku and Schurrle playing as a third striker, or midfielder for us. BlueLyon 9,359
If he has great Wc and still gets sold, I will be pissed. All these years of terrible strikers (bar drogba) and now we could have one realy good for next 10 years but if we wont give him the proper chance it would be realy idiotic. kellzfresh 7,229
Lukaku just scores goals, is confident in his ability like all good strikers are, and is still young enough to develop further. I think its time to put some faith in him, especially in the first half of the season where we are in all competitions with lots of matches to play and incase costa gets injured. We can't afford being forced to play torres once again. zolayes and seanptmiller
BlueLyon 9,359
I actualy like him as he is bit cocky. Several best strikers are from Rvp, Drogba, Etoo, Ibra,...and that means only that Lukaku has ambitions.Just imagine we sell Lukaku to some PL team and he continues banging goals while our Costa flops. That would be one big fuck up.I am certain Lukaku will be star and if we sell him, I will be even more certain. We will regret that. And even if he has bad WC, he shouldnt be judged by that. kellzfresh and zolayes
