ultrachiek90 13
i was at the stadium, watching this whole match.. and honestly it was painful to watch. I was expecting at least a few goals from chelsea, since liverpool and arsenal won them easily. PLEASE PLEASE AVB, u seriously need to buy some players and stop being too optimistic about everything. This squad is not going to bring chelsea anywhere..

Blue Armour 4,439
Proving a point. Whether that point is that Torres is finished or that at his age Drogba is of no use.You can either prove one thing or the other. Don't see why both Drogba and Torres always have to be mentioned in tandem with regards to each other's usefulness. Their form has barely anything to do with each other. Henrique 9,133
I am not alarmed by our performance on the pitch. With players such as Anelka, Kalou, Bosingwa, etc... I didn't expect to something better. But what I am alarmed for, is that our board doesn't seem to think we need an overhaul...It doesnt surprise me that the board thinks like that. Just see in this forum how we have some optimistic guys that keep saying we dont need an overhaul, and that Modric and Lukaku will be enough to make us world beaters. nullabletype 987
"We are trying to build a new way of playing and things don't happen in three weeks."eldo, this quote from AVB you posted pretty much sums it up mate. I notice though that it went unnoticed. Seemingly it's not negative enough for most people to take any notice of.

Kostas 1,468
Finished watching the game. Nothing to get excited about but it didn't warrant all that drama. Our midfield in the first half was nonexistent. Torres, as dissapointing as he was, had absolutely no support. Lampard was invisible. The second team got our forwards more involved and our attacks looked more organised. AVB said that we switched to a 4-♦-2 and it was evident as our attack linked much better with the midfield. Surprisingly Sturridge was less involved than usually.Generally controlled the game but without any penetration. Meh..
nadavTKL 1,787
I find it funny when some fans do a promo for either one of Drogba and Torres, that they have to diss the performance of the other striker....I mean how does one striker playing worse than the other make you feel better? We have a lot of Torres Fans in our forum. Thats the main reason for that I think.I didnt saw many people here disses Torres's performance to promote Drogba.

Meh..I agree that all this hysteria that is created is a bit redundant and unnecessary for a number of Reasons, but more people watched yesterday's game and did this are against Portsmouth stay with such a bitter taste of what they saw and this still more or less embarrassing although the coach himself says that the controls are not important.Last season was also the case, and we saw how the season has evolved in Carlo

dave30 728
http://www.mirrorfoo...icle774057.htmlhalf of the people abusing him are supporting a team which to them is foreign ( Chelsea ) and yet they don't see the irony in being anti Semitic or giving abuse to somebody because of which country they come from . i obviously hope they would not receive such but i wonder if they would be shocked if they got xenophobic abuse if they ever made the trip to England to watch Chelsea .
