manpe 10,861
Cesc is a left hander, but a right footer. That doesn't really answer the question. I thought feet and hands go together, because both should depend on your dominant brain side.

Sometimes parents will force their children to be right handed, I don't know if they do that in Belgium though. In the end their true nature will emerge when they start playing football and pick their comfortable foot.
Belgiannutt 3,201
Environment also plays a part. In the end their true nature will emerge when they start playing football and pick their comfortable foot. They used to do it in catholic schools here. My dad had it done to him. Everytime one of the nuns (teachers were nuns) caught him trying to write with his left hand they told him to put his left hand out and then they repeatedly hit his hand with a wooden ruler. My dads basically left handed and left footed but writes with his right hand. Started football right footed but always played on left, so practiced alot on left foot when i was young and left is now better then right.. I thought feet and hands go together, because both should depend on your dominant brain side.I'm ambidextrous (can write with both hands) but right-footed. One of my best mates is left-handed but right-footed, even my old man, who is left-handed, is a right-footer as well. Just depends on what you use most when growing up. SoulTaker 46
It's all about body coordination really, you'll become what you do that's it. I'm left handed yet my right hand fingers are more agile and I'm right footed.

For example, I'm right handed but left-footed because I always played football with my left foot.

Like Rafael Nadal who's right-handed naturally but trained himself to be proficient with his left.
Madmax 9,219
Just a slight aberration on that Eto'o goal but more than made up for it with the astonishing save from Mirallas.

Most of the goals were unavoidable though.
