Milan 17,958
@BelgoFoot: Thibaut Courtois' father says the player would not be interested in a move back to #cfc if it meant sitting on the bench.
LDN Blue 7,903
Not having a dig at the kid, but he must realise that in order for him to get his chance to breakthrough and adapt to life at Chelsea he must go through a period of bench warming. Cech didn't walk into this squad when he was first came, he got his break with an injury to Cudicini which Cech gladly took the opportunities given to him.I like Courtois' passion to play, it's warming to see the kid wants to play for the love of the game and not the money. But patience plays its part. He also can get invaluable advice from Cech, because that man's experience is so key to the development of the young Belgian, it shouldn't be taken for granted. I'm sure if Fergie could've retained the services of Van Der Sar, De Gea would be a much better goal keeper right now. KingEssien

Jase 43,479
John Chapman @BelgoFoot Thibaut Courtois blamed by many fans for Atletico's defeat in Mdrdid derby; closed his Twitter account for a few hours as many insults.
The only place to be 11,313
It's not that bad. Players need to face adversity to grow and this will be good long-term. Plus the less players on twitter the better.

Atholy 1,293
Blaming Courtois for the defeat is just plain silly. None of the 2 goals were his fault at all! This!I can understand that a lot of emotions were involved in this crucial derby (for the first time since very long Atletico are in front of Real in the table!!)but both goals were unstoppable. I cannot see why they want to blame Courtois for this defeat? Maybe the Freekick was a slap in the face because it was Ronaldo once again?Feel free to judge yourself http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xvje6s_real-madrid-2-0-atletico-madrid_sport?start=

Sheva. 5,373
Lmao, i'm sure its his fault that they were clueless throughout the whole game and never posed any threat to an underwhelming Real Madrid side.
Jase 43,479
John Chapman @BelgoFoot Good news re Courtois RT @ssdshirt: most insults came from one specific user. Majority supports him and doesn't blame him for the loss.

The amount of play acting was completely incompatible with the football being played, but the ref did not handed cards on every bump and subsequent dive. Atholy 1,293
Alarming news in Belgian Media:reports say Russian media are writing a Goalie exchange could happen already this winter!Reason: Anzhi Makachkala are ready to place a 10 million bid euro on Petr Cech in the upcoming weeks. If the club would ever accept this offer... Courtois could be between Chelsea posts a lot sooner than expected.IMO this is total bullshit. But with Russian teams... you just never know (remember HULK & WITSEL, ETO'O,etc.). Also a 10 million bid on a goalkeeper is something for a club to think about... even for a hero & fan favorite like Petr. I know Courtois is about ready to find his spot in the Chelsea team... but I would rather see Cech in the goal until (at least) the end of the season! Also it woud be way better for Courtois' development if he could train together with Petr for a few months!Story to be continued... I will keep you guys updated!
