SCOTS couple Colin and Christine Weir have been named as Europe's biggest ever lottery winners — scooping a staggering £162MILLION. Overjoyed Colin, 64, and wife Chris, 55, told how the win will change the lives of their family forever.

The pair, from Largs, Ayrshire, plan to splash out on their children, photography student Carly, 24, and call-centre worker Jamie, 22.

Delighted Colin — who is going to buy his own private box at his favourite football team Barcelona — said: "When we first realised we had won, it felt like a dream. Everything went into slow motion.

Think of all the good this type of money could have done... The lottery is a disgrace.

Remember this guy? ... http://www.dailymail...g-9-7m-win.html

ah, Michael Caroll -Kieth Allen did a good documentary on him.

There was also a programme showing Camelot looking after all these lottery winners who didnt know what to do with their lives. They were all wearing hiviz jackets doing gardening organised by Camelot, all multimillionaires who were lonely.

Thats the problem with the lottery it doesnt discriminate, and as for winning, it aint called the 'idiot tax' for nothing. You have as much chance of winning a jackpot as being struck by lightning TWI CE on the same day, or walking up to complete random stranger and telling them their phone number
