Have to say can just see use slipping down the table as the season comes to an end !! i was never to sure when they got him, carlo should NEVER have been sacked, and lets not get onto Jose... but what we do need is stability, and i can see what he is trying to do but i dont think he has the whole dressing room, Malouda just does not seem up for it, i think he had one half decent season with us anyway.... AVB has openly said, lukaku, de bryne wasnt his signings, IF AVB last till the end of the season and into the summer we will know buy the new signings in the summer what kind of season we will have but.... win lose or draw CAREFREE remember there was a time we wasnt in the position we was in ............................

He is suggesting both were too old for Chesea, and were almost retiring. The fact is that we have a small squad, and firing those two player in that moment was a stupid thing to do, we arent in a position to waste players like that, even if they are too old.

They handed in transfer requests, they wanted to jump ship, Get them gone..............

Someone's competence is hard to judge. Of course there are some members here who like to judge everyones.

My problem with AVB is that with essentially the same group of players, he has managed to make us even worse and very difficult to watch when compared to what we were last season.

I think we have actually forgot just how bad last season was!!

I am getting your point, but imo that 2nd position is very misleading. We were shit for the entire season apart from the first few weeks and the two months in March and April. Also, Spurs, Arsenal and Newcastle weren't as good and City also weren't as good. If you had replaced the Spurs, Arsenal, Newcastle and City teams from this season into last season, we wouldn't have been 2nd.

We have two games comming up that if AVB plays his cards right, we can easily secure a top four spot for now as Arsenal have two games that could see them drop points. Really hope he can make the next 4 weeks work.
