As a Nigeria international capped 14 times by his country, Michael Emenalo faced Diego Maradona when their countries met at the 1994 World Cup, but it was an encounter after the game that sticks in his mind. 
Emenalo was selected with Maradona to undergo the mandatory doping test following the 2-1 win for Argentina in Foxborough, Massachusetts. It was the test that would discover the banned stimulant ephedrine in Maradona’s system, ending his World Cup and his 17-year international career. 
“I was sat in the corridor with him and he [Maradona] was making jokes about it,” Emenalo says. “He had his shirt in his hand and he was looking at me. This was Maradona! I was just thinking about how I had a poor game. I was thinking I wasn’t going to play the next game against Greece. All the time he was looking at me. It wasn’t until I went home I thought, ‘He wanted to swap shirts’. Later when I got married I told my wife and she laughed. Can you imagine that last Argentina shirt? With Maradona’s sweat on it? what do you want the manager to do, these players have come in and changed the games at times, you are as good as the tools you have. I was actually shocked when people here slated FL for not starting Pulisic against Liverpool, there are players that are impact players, Ole hardly ever started in his days at United but is still deemed a great striker. Pulisic starts the next match and bam poor outing, starts the next and is injured. we are building a new team and we need patience and understand that on the day your players can let you down. We lost to the best striker on the the day, would have loved us to win the FA but on the day we lost to the side that had a truly world class strike, even Giroud had a poor gamer. Cho, Barkley, Rudiger, Alonso, Zouma, Christensen and Azpi have not been up to scratch. 

what do you expect with 2 injuries and 3 players on yellow cards?
 

I always rated him and believe he would deliver. critics believe shelling out guarantees success, but we have seen Sutton Shevshenko, Falcao, Torres, Morata and Hiquan in the past. Giroud, Morata and Hiquain between them scored 12 premiership goals last season and we are finding it difficult to appreciate this poacher?

cost us what? Tammy bearing injury would score more than Morata, Hiquain and Giroud scored in the EPL last season (12). Tammy is our best striker at the moment, he has an opportunity to improve and become a top striker, the least we fans can do is be positive and encourage him. we can't buy a new striker, we have Michy and Giroud as options, common.

I am trying to understand your disappointment, Chelsea have been in a mess since Jose snapped the chain by letting KDB, Sallah, Lukaku etc leave. Conte performed magic by winning the premiership with a weak team that was not adequately replaced not due to the board not shelling out but the buys did not work. Everyone was excited by Bakayoko but it didn't happen. Sarri has done well with this squad, only 2 players will get into the top 5 side and with the best effort our strikers have scored 12 goals + Hazards 16 in the championship. so the team that scored the least in the top 6 could come 3rd and can win the Europa cup. we are not Arsenal, they are under performers and legendary at it. Give Sarri Lacazette or Aubamayang or both and you wouldn't believe its the same Chelsea. If we had Song or Kane or both, I wonder. Martial or Rashford, Aquero, Sane. all such players are not available to be bought, in the circumstances we are doing great.
