Imagine Douglas Costa trying to play RW at Chelsea with Ivanovic at RB...it would be a disaster waiting to happen. Having two tactically-sound fullbacks (Lahm & Alaba) that are able to defend and contribute to the attack is a massive advantage for the attacking midfielders at any club. At Chelsea, we have a RB that likes getting forward but he's often caught out of position and a LB that is amazing defensively but almost useless in an attacking sense

If only Juventus were interested in Cuadrado

I'm not sure why Cuadrado is still at the club...he looks out of his depth Are the Italian clubs still interested in him?

He's 21...he needs game time to develop and refine his skills, not sure what he'll gain by being Azpi's backup

I've always rated RLC...but he doesn't have a role in Chelsea's first team He's not a deep midfielder (honestly feel Ake is better suited for that role) He's not really a no.10 either (Musonda looks to be the better prospect)

I don't think you have seen Isco play regularly, as he would definitely add something different to our midfield.

I think Zouma could be Terry's replacement at CB, he's got the talent and from what i've heard, he's got good leadership qualities for a youngster The priority for this transfer window should be buying a quality CM/DM that can fill in for Matic...then we can worry about a backup GK, future RB, new RW

You can understand why some people aren't civil about it....he chose to move to a direct london rival, even though he had alternative options. I get why he moved and I hope he makes a mistake or two during his time at Arsenal :blue scalf:

Totally agree, Romeu could have been the perfect squad midfielder. He always looked calm on the ball, capable of recycling possession, decent passing ability

Loaning Ake to Monaco would be a good thing...at the very least, he would have to fight other young players and earn a place in a solid european-quality team. As for Christensen, I would prefer to see him go to Boro or Vitesse

Even though I'd love to see Musonda at PSV, maybe a loan deal to Vitesse (where he should be a starter) would be the better option

I think it will be a quieter transfer window as I don't think we need to spend 40+ million on a player unless they are top quality. Would be happy to see us strengthen our midfield and add a #2 keeper

Sterling's not worth the extra 5 million, that's the problem. If we want a quality english player, I'd spend the money on John Stones (as a potential replacement for JT), not Raheem Sterling

He's still be a Chelsea legend, don't like the fact that he's joining a rival but family comes first
