Virgin Drogba did look like he was right up for this game. I saw on a few occassions when he was whooping the fans up to get a bit of atmosphere when we'd won a few corners. Good to see a bit of the old Drog back and chomping at the bit.

Soccer News For me Kalou is the typical Arsenal "style" player. Plenty of talent yet frustrating. I did find this comment funny considering they have won feck all going on almost 5 years now.

I've been very impressed with the first half. The attitude of the players is top notch. A few sloppy passes at times, but thats expected from Ballack We could easily have been 2-0 up, but we cant let Juve get a foothold in the game. They had a spell of about 5-10 minutes were they had a few decent chances. We cannot allow them to score and get that vital away goal. Pizarro has never been a prolific striker, he's decent at best. When we signed him he was playing regularly for Bayern so his lack of game time with Chelsea obviously affected his overall game. The only reason I think he should be brought back is if we intend to use him. If he's going to be a bit part player it would be better to sell and move on.

A good part of the squad are portuguese speaking, I dont think it was a translation problem. Riccy and co could easily have put across what he was trying to implement. We didnt do too badly with Ranieri who couldnt speak a word of English when he first arrived. As you mentioned before, it was good to see the togetherness of the squad after the game.

Still dont rate this guy in the slightest. Theres better options out there we should be concentrating on.

I'm certain we'll get a guarenteed CL place for next season. As for this season there are alot of big guns who will go out at this stage as they all play each other. If we get through this round and get a favourable draw in the next then anything is possible.

Italian teams are known for their ability to sit back and soak up the pressure. Thats the only thing that concerns me. Breaking through their defence. We shown this season when we're up against a team like that we struggle. A clean sheet is the most important thing in this game, getting a goal is a bonus.
