He's the next big thing according to the Rangers coaching staff. He broke into the team last season and has been lighting up Ibrox with his pace and willingness to get forward. At 17 (although the papers have him as 18) he's light years away from anything else Rangers have produced over the last lot of years. I've saw quite a bit of him lately and he is something special.

I feel we'll be seeing a rampant win for us tonight. We've been looking dangerous the last few games and nothing will set us up nicer for going to Liverpool that a 4 or 5-0 win.

All TalkChelsea members who live outside of England

Manu and Liverpool have always had a massive support when I was growing up, and being the only kid in school who supported Chelsea brought its usual amount of laughs. Only in the last 10 or so years have I noticed a larger amount of people wearing Chelsea tops and more so now you'll see numerous cars with scarves and stickers showing their support. I know of two Chelsea Supporters Clubs near me. One in Newtownabbey and another in East Belfast who I'm friendly with a few of their members as I used to worked with them. Success brings support, but at least I can live with the fact that I'm not a glory hunter  -
No talks with Roman Abramovich yet, says Holger Heims

For talk sake say this does go through....It could mean Kenyon gets the boot -
Interesting draw. Rodgers will be relishing this for sure. He'll have plenty of inside information to pass onto his team.
-
Isnt that what he's going to do? They reported it a few weeks ago that his contract will be adjusted to lesser amount, but he'll make it up on bonus', etc...

Welcome to 5 years ago.

Manu are on the verge of a £40m a year deal with some Asian firm........Puts us firmly in the shade.
-
Hopefully he does get more game time and it will put an end to the myth that youngsters dont get a chance at Chelsea. If you're good enough you will play...simple.
-
Hahahaha.... I've done it myself at Rangers games, but that was only due to the fact we had to get our arses up to Stranraer for the last boat home.

Carlo was a great servant to the club. Obviously sad to see him go but he deserves to be playing at the top level on a regular basis.

Already lacking in much creativity we lose probably the most creative player we have. Theres not a better chance than this for Stoch to stake a claim. Its alot of pressure on the wee man, but if his 10 minutes against Stoke is anything to go by then we'll get by, also Essien is hopefully due back so that should soften the blow slightly.

Kenyon: Scolari in tune with vision

I thought we'd already pulled out of any deal before City came in with an offer. -
Kenyon: Scolari in tune with vision

He may say he's fully supportive, but I thought he'd only signed a 2 year deal? -
Chelsea need reinforcements, says Luiz Felipe Scolari
Aesthetic Relic replied to the wes's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
I heard Bentley mentioned in a report on SSN as a possible target for us. With Spurs bringing in Palacios it will put him further down the pecking order. I thought he'd have been a good signing for us in the summer, but he's done much since arriving at Spurs. So I dont know about that one. If the money is tight and we arent given anything to spend, it could be worth a shot at getting him in on loan. More for cover than anything. -
Apparently Robinho has stormed out of the Citeh's after finding out they failed to get Kaka. This just gets better

Scolari: My kids are better than Drogba
Aesthetic Relic replied to the wes's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
I think Drogba will have a major reality check over the next few weeks. if anyone was interested in him do we not think there would have been some sort of interest in him by now? Hopefully he'll take all this on board and it'll put some fire in his belly to come back stronger and prove he's got what it takes to be the main striker at Chelsea once more. -
If we get passed Juve then we'll have as good a chance as anyone. With all the other big guns going up against each other and a favourable draw for the next stage it could well go in our way. I'm not expecting us to due to our current state. So I wont be that disappointed if we crash out.

I thought he'd got that problem sorted out.

A quick google search..... Seems thats his full name. That was taken from the FA Youth final in March last year.

Scolari Hails Chelsea's Lampard As Best In World
Aesthetic Relic replied to Steve's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
How dare you Tbh, my take on it is that he's only started to look the player of a few seasons ago. Yesterday was the first time that I've witnessed Lampard take a game by the scruff of the neck this season. He's showed flashes of what he can do in previous games, but that was by far his best performance of the season. -
I'm only able to get into this as we'd a power cut over here due to the weather. Even missed MOTD so I couldnt relive it. Have to wait till tomorrow morning I suppose. Thats the sort of game that can give the squad a real lift. We battered Stoke for the full match and we fully deserved the 3 points. It looked like it was going to be one of those days. Credit to Lampard who continued to get himself in positions to score. It couldnt have happened at a sweeter time. I thought Stoch was going to get the winner just before Lampard scored. He'd cut inside their LB and hit a cracking shot. The wee man looked good for all I saw of him. We're definately on a high. Boro next then off to Liverpool. Keep that spirit going lads.
