What use is playing Anelka in a 4-5-1 when he wanders off to the half way line looking for the ball? By the time he gets anywhere near the box the cross has been put in and theres no one on the end of it. If you played 4-4-2 and he went off on a wander at least you'd have another striker there to worry the defenders and get on the end of things.

Drogba should have been on for Mikel. At least we would have had someone in the box getting onto RQ's crosses. Anelka was wandering all over the place. I'd have had him off and Di Santo on. 2 strikers who'll go in for headers and win things in the box. Anelka is just not effective in a game like this. He offers nothing. I'm fed up saying it.

Fuck sake. We had them by the balls at half time. Scolari should have sent the team out to kill the game in the second half, if anything we got worse. You dont win games by changing like for like. Drogba should have been on at the start of the 2nd half and tried to get on the end of Quaresmas crosses. FFS he should have thrown on Di Santo too and went all out for the win. I'm running out of explanations as to why were so shit at breaking teams down. We've been crying out for a winger. We get one in Quaresma and we dont have anyone in the box attacking the ball as Anelka is farting around the half way line looking for the bloody thing. We MUST change to 4-4-2 Scolaris FFS. This 4-5-1 isnt working. Teams have us sussed and they'll continue to suss us out until you have either the balls or swallow some pride and do what needs to be done. Hull have lost 6 out of their last 7 games before today. Its not surprising that they stop the rot against us. Not good enough.

I think we're doing ok. Considering Hull are intent on defending, we've created a good amount of chances compred to recent weeks when we've dominated possession and created fuck all. One thing I have noticed is Anelka coming deep to get the ball, when the ball is played in theres no one to get on the end of it. Imo, take Mikel off, theres no need for a defensive midfielder when we're constantly attacking, bring Drogba on and go 4-4-2. He wont do it of course, but the game is screaming for another striker.

FFS....It was a cracker. I've been trying to post the last few days. I couldnt get onto the site. Ok heres the story This Manc guy was chatting to a bird online via facebook and things wee getting pretty heavy. After a few weeks of chatting and texting each other they made arrangements to meet. She told him to bring a vibrator and he chose a rampant rabbit. So off he goes for the weekend up to Aberdeen. When he gets up there he's in this remote village and theres no sign of the girl, so he rings her a few times and no answer. He recieves a text saying she's in work and cant answer the phone, she asks him did he bring the vibrator and he said yes. She then texts asking him to send her a pic of him sucking the vibrator so she can "touch herself" while imagining what he's going to be doing with it when she gets there. So he takes a pic and sends it too her. She sends one back saying to ring her in 5 minutes. He rings and some Scouse bloke answers. He asks for Emma and the bloke says he is Emma. He's with his mates and has set this guy up big time. They're all laughing at him and the guy is gutted. They had the picture of him sucking this pink/purple rampant rabbit and it ws on the video while the phone conversation was played. It was quality, I wish you could have seen it.

I sort of agree with you. Until he has time to chop and change the squad, bring in the players he requires to play the system he wants us to play then he should be given time on that basis. His hands have been tied financially and the mindset of the team has changed to a certain extent. But what I dont understand in this time of transition is how we can go from being a solid defensive unit to a defence with more holes than a tea-bag. Its basically the same squad as last season and the season before that, so frankly....WTF is going on. ?......You just dont forget how to defend overnight, and for that he deserves to take any criticism thrown his direction.

I remember when we played Porto a few seasons ago and Quaresma was playing. He was throwing himself to the ground in ways that would make Ronaldo embaressed. I hope he's cut that out of his game.........

The funny thing is that Spurs have been linked with im all day in some sort of swap deal involving Jenas or Bentley. Knowing that he was surplus to requirements at Inter we've slipped in and probably with Scolaris influence we've nicked him. Fingers crossed. If we get the deal sorted out in principal before 5pm it can still go ahead after the deadline has passed due to the weather. Its all over SSN atm.
