What he needs to do is get his foot on the ball and play the simple pass for a few games till he gets his confidence back up. Anytime he's lost possession he's tried to be too fancy and then resorts to chasing back half hearted or taking someone out to stop the counter to save face.

I've never seen him play tbh. With the reviews he gets and his call up to the England side he must have something, so it would be good to see him in the flesh and make a proper judgement on him.

Good luck to him. I've always prefered Bridge to Ash. Not because of his Arsenal links but because I feel he can offer more to the team going forward. His quality of crosses are excellent compared to Ash who continues to miss-hit 9/10 crosses he puts into the box. He's a model professional imo. He never complained and was always there to do a job when called upon.

Drogbas abilty to hold the ball up and bring others into the game is surely going to see us get back to winning ways. Anelka prefers to play on the last man and get the ball to his feet. A totally different game altogether. With him no holding the ball up as much as Drogba we lose the threat of Lampard arriving late imo.

Whoever we have working on set pieces in training seriously needs to consider the option of having someone on the post(s). A few times this season I've picked up on this when we've conceded goals from corners especially. Bordeaux was another game when we lost a goal from a corner with the same problem. Theres been a few others as I can remember posting in the match thread at the time. If I can see this then surely Scolaris backroom team have picked up on it. If not they need a good slap. Its costing us points.

And there we have it. The perfect example of when you dont take your chances you drop points. I'm gutted at the result, but performance wise it was a massive improvement on previous weeks. The two goals we lost were from set pieces. Thats shocking considering the aeriel ability we have in the team. How Deco lasted another 90 minutes is beyond me. All we can do is hope we turn up against Manure in a week or so. Losing to them is unthinkable atm. They're crawling their way back into contention and we're allowing them to do it. We have to stop the rot and stop it fast.

I'm getting more and more pissed off with Deco each game. In the last 2 minutes he's gave away posession at least 3 times with sloppy passing.

We've already used all 3 subs Malouda, Alex and Joe Cole all replaced by Anelka, Riccy and Kalou

Theres never been criticism of his ability as a footballer.
