  1. It's Arsenals to lose now. Though if we keep breathing down their necks, and ManU hustling as well, they could fuck up -but probably not to the tune of 9 points.
  2. Agree with most of that, but I dont see anything in him to support. Maybe he will pass the coaching exam. Brilliant. I've tried to leave personal opinion out of it and just look at his ability as a manager. he may well prove me wrong and start making astute tactical changes that lead us to win the league..but I dont think he has the bottle to risk being ridiculed, nor the intelligence to have contingencies for events as the game progresses. I would worry if we were to play AC Milan or Barca in the next week or two. Whether he is ousted in the Summer is up for debate, and will depend on what silverware is accrued., but I find it absolutely incredible he was given a four year contract. I'd prefer Ian Porterfield at the moment.
  3. Sincrely doubt it, but he talks sense ''we can & should compare ourselves only to ourselves'' ''Are any of you so sure that Mourinho would have got any better results'' and ''man-unt'' and ''the Liver's''
  4. Grant isn't stupid. He knows how to weedle his way into £100 000 a week job for a start. He has no acute football brain this is apparent. Fine, leave things as they are. why not ? Why fix it if it aint broke. That any manager would have done. I'm not advocating Mourinhos return. Hes gone. What he had though was a game strategy. He had a plan B, C, D, and E. This is how he was successful. Get a lead, and keep it. No way would have Villa drew 4-4 under his stewardship. Even Ranieri had plans and imagination. I see none of this during any grant game. This is where crucial decisions cannot be made by his underlings Ten Cate and Clarke.
  5. Agreed it is so fucking frustrating. OK so Arse and ManU still have to come to SW6 (watershed games) but if the gooners win tonight they'll be an eight point difference. Doesn't mean it's over but not looking good.
  6. That looks the business, but they wont play Drogs and Anelka together yet would they ? , but in an ideal world yes. maybe Roman will tell Grant that's what he wants The subs dont look that inspirational if we're up against it, wouldn't you like SWP or kalou as reserve ammo.? It might be good to have Drogs and Shevchenko together from the off, and then Anelka later on to catch'em.
  7. Thats good news -he will shine against the Yids at Wemberlee methinks. On yesterdays performance, Lampard wasn't just lacking match fitness, but some of the ball giving away was woeful. So Ballack as captain with Mikel would be favourite in my book at present.
  8. Kuyt going wide caused us problems when Ashley Cole was otherwise engaged. Don't think its harsh. My stance is that the results are despite the Puppet, and his position could be fulfilled by someone who could offer a contribution to Chelsea football Club for a more than adequate salary. But like I say maybe thats not neccesary. Top clubs now have enough staff, and Grant fulfils the role of No threat to the Media, and Abramovichs confidant and conduit to team selection.
  9. Well I've a feeling the 4 3 3 will remain. The 90 minutes will be split between Drogs and Anelka. Expect to see them both on if its 0-0 or we're trailing. Could be wrong though. Personally I'd play them both, SWP behind, with Mikel, Ballack and Joe Cole. Shevchenko, kalou and Malouda ready to shake things up if required. BTW Did Joe Cole get booked yesterday ?? means he'd miss the Yid game if so.
  10. I thought the scousers were probably more inventive than us at times, and our passing was schoolboyish. If/when results go Liverpoolesque, a new 'face' will doubtless be brought in. But if the puppet is going to bring us a blip, I'd rather the puppets strings were cut beforehand.
  11. And not forgetting Cech. It's easy to forget the positives when theres a goal drought. There were a few good performances yesterday Kalou has topped the assist table I'm fairly certain.
  12. From what I've seen of Kalou in the ACN, he's coming back a better player. Ashley Cole and Obi shone yesterday amongst a lot of drabness.
  13. Thats true and there would be different conversations flying about today had Joe Cole had a deserved penalty converted. I would rather spot the cracks being papered over than just fall into the trap of accepting someone who's clearly out of his depth, before it's too late. Maybe we dont need a competent person at the helm, and surrounding adequate staff is enough. And another thing whilst i'm in Victor Meldrew mode -the atmosphere was shit yesterday from both sets. still, WIN OR LOSE, UP THE FUCKING BLUES, I SAY.
  14. SWP is definitely better behind the forwards in a central position, rather than an average player on the right wing. Yesterday he would have been ideal to replace Lampard, would have livened it right up, and Malouda on the left with Cole on the right. We have enough talent employed, just needs to be utilised in the right way-with the right motivation. kalou would have made the difference yesterday as well.
  15. Agree, wholesale changes would have been disastrous , unless executed by a competent coach. The substitutions and tactical changes are akin to a sedated sloth. He has brought absolutely nothing so far, and it is early days I know, but I'm sorry, it's a waste of a key position of Chelsea Football club to have practically no one there. He's inherited a Rolls Royce with a chauffeur and valet, yet doesn't get it serviced at all. It drives fine for a while. Eventually it will stall.
  16. Not yet. If we lose to the Yids at Wembley, and silverware is thin on the ground, come May, the knives will be out and sharpened for Romans puppet. JT was guest in the studio yesterday and said that when Grant took over he told the players that nothing will change from what they were doing under Mourinho, formation will stay the same. That shows that Grant does not have the knowledge and experience to manage properly at the top level and also confirms that it is in fact Steve Clarke doing the lions share of the work. We were pretty poor yesterday and Grant didn't have the ability to change it. I still believe it is the players have kept us in the hunt, not anything Grant has done. Grant is obviously out of his depth. This is even apparrent from his body language and befuddled touchline expression. He doesn't react quick enough to the changing situation in a match. But he is obviously content to get his £4.5 million a year. Ten Cate and Clarke take training, apparently Avram only picks the team. -and maybe that is passed down from Roman ?
  17. Lol no that's fine Aroop, probably more credible than Tribal anyway
  18. Good idea -always have to merge a couple together as well. And people really need to cite the source.
  19. A manager would be top of my list. Playing Lampard dismissed the good recent performances by SWP and Ballack. More than likely be 8 points off the pace tonight, with us yet to win against any of the top four since Romans puppet arrived. The two against Arsenal and Man united at home will be crucial.
  20. There were no problems until you started spouting your grammarless incoherent posts. But thanks for sharing your pic - it's 'moron' though not ' moran'. I'm sure the irony is lost on you. Well said fellow Mod. Just who the fuck is it ? A deranged Yid who stalks Chelsea forums in the small hours who aspires to be one of these ? '' An Internet troll, or simply troll in Internet slang, is someone who posts controversial messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, with the intention of baiting other users into an emotional response. 22. All the freebies, Sidwell, Pizarro, and Ben Hapless have been average to poor. Fucking apalling when the nearest we came was Riises header back to Reina.
  23. Maybe he does ,but I honestly believe hes clueless as how to achieve his puppetmasters wish.
  24. Oh the unbeaten run is affecting the team ? -right. Another dig ? Thats another one of Mourinhos cock ups then.
