  1. Hate to say it as I think he's brilliant, but might be best if he goes. We have plenty of players in his position, Jose obviously doesn't fancy him, we improved today after he went off, it seems an amicable parting would work for everyone. Hazard, Oscar and Willian are without doubt our best 3 behind the striker now. Especially the style/way Jose plays. Mata has had chances this season, Oscar has been better. Mata is too good to sit on the bench, can't see him wanting to stay there. Hes a great bloke too, proper pro and I want him to stay, but if we have to use him to get a top striker like Rooney, Falcao, Cavani etc then I've got to be honest and say go for it. It would improve us as a team. Schurrle, and possibly de Bruyne, Moses and others could provide back up options for the 3 behind striker
  2. Four and half year contract, which gives him time to develop, hopefully with us. He's already got 10 full international caps at the age of 18 which is very impressive. Superb on the Asian tour. Wouldnt be surprised to see KDB loaned out again now
  3. Best thing was seeing the fat bastard fuck off.
  4. Dont tell me it was that fat sack of shit Alan Green ?
  5. Loved today -best 90 mins we've played for a long time. Really good atmosphere. (Hated the last time I was there when we played them and glen johnson got the winner), but today we gave 100% and put those cunts in their place. We grew up as a team as well.
  6. Choked me up that did, but was not surprised. JT has done stuff for other kids and disabled people throughout his career, not for PR like other players but because he genuinely cares.
  7. Swansea have had some good managers recently that have left and gone on to manage both scouse teams successfully. Good piece Choulo, and we will win today. (Just a small thing, its not live on BBC).
  8. To be fair its gooner fans on twitter so take of that what you will
  9. Hard to say Dave -if it stays like this it could well be
  10. Never mind about the streams -theres fucking rivers here, torrential. Pitch inspection at 3 -could be called off
  11. He would have bit their hand off for £200 000 a week
  12. The whole world knows we need a striker, and its not fucking rocket surgery to realise with an Aguero or Suarez we'd have the league sewn up by now. That said we have to deal with what we have. Eto n Ba are not good enough, but part of the problem is that none of the three underachievers get a run of games. Of the three, Torres harries, assists and puts the greater shift in, even though hes a shadow of what he was at the cess pit so he needs a run of games. Hopefully Abramovich will let Mourinho take a few notes out of his wallet so he can go shopping in the January sales
  13. Until the three up top find some form or are shipped out we will continue to stutter. Can't fault the effort but the threat up top is mid table quality at best. City go away tonight and there third choice striker gets three. I know it's a championship side but Sunderland are almost there themselves. I feel for the chels faithful who went all that way tonight, and nearly all have to take a days leave or throw a sickie tomorrow. They deserve better,
  14. From Gianfranco Zola to all Watford supporters: I am writing this today with a very heavy heart and after a lot of consideration, to tell you that I have resigned from my Head Coach position at Watford. First of all, this decision has not been made quickly. I mentioned after the game on Saturday that I wanted to think about things overnight and that is exactly what I have done. I must place Watford Football Club first in my thoughts and it is for this reason that I have taken my action. I feel that it is in the best interests of the team that somebody new is given the chance to bring the success which we have all hoped for and worked very hard for. It is for a variety of reasons, and not just over one matter or one moment, that I feel this is the right decision for me, in the best interests of the club - and I know I can trust you, the supporters, to respect my decision fully. Last season was such an amazing time, for the players, the staff and the supporters. And I loved that journey. Every minute of it brought a new challenge, different experiences and a lot of learning. I have had supporters tell me that the Leicester game in May was the most amazing moment in their time supporting their club. I will always remember having been welcomed so warmly to this wonderful football club, to have been supported so fully and to have been able to share moments of excitement and joy that will always live with me. But this game does not wait and does not stop. There is always the next challenge and a new environment ahead which means nothing is ever the same. For now, I want to wish the players, the staff, the fans and everyone else who has Watford Football Club at heart my best wishes for the future. It has been a privilege and a pleasure to serve this club and I am sure we will see each other again one day. Best wishes, Gianfranco lways the well mannered gent
  15. Good write up Alex. Pellegrini took his striker off with 5 mins to go-seemingly not realising that 4-2 would see them top the group. Fuckwit is paid, what, 5 million a year ? Serve them right if they go out to Barca first knockout games
  16. As much chance as the pope becoming a protestant. Fantasy footballcard swapsies in the playground
  17. The slowness of the cops to try and put a stop to it is a bit of a worry, what with the World cup coming up n all
  18. Geezer died apparently -I reckon its the bloke at two minutes. I mean why keep kicking someones head ??
  19. Didier Drogba -His life story itv 4 tuesday 11 15pm unmissable.
  20. Scored the most for any Premier League defender Anton, Rio, suck on that you wankers
  21. The problem is the double pivot -whatever that is
  22. Not just Jose- yids n Wenger also not happy. They have a point, the billions of TV revenue would be lost without an atmosphere, and this forum would have about 5 members http://www.theguardian.com/football/2013/nov/16/premier-league-fans-atmosphere-concern
