  1. But as you say -the FA see Chelsea as a cash cow, regardless of what he said. Its not just Mourinho, Chelsea get harsher treatment from the FA period. Just because Wenger didnt speak for 7 minutes, and just because maybe Saints should have had 2 pens, doesnt detract from the fact Wenger in effect said exactly the same yet gets away with it.
  2. Henry, fantastic player, but jesus what a dreadful pundit
  3. It is. When things have settled down, one day, I would love us to take the FA to court
  4. midfielder Stefan Effenberg has strongly hinted to the BBC's World Football programme that Jurgen Klopp will be the next coach of Liverpool. "Liverpool is one of the greatest atmospheres. It’s pretty much the same as Dortmund," said the World Cup winner, who is a good friend of Klopp. "The fans stay with everything behind the club and this is what Jurgen Klopp likes and what he needs. “So I maybe, very soon, we’ll hear something from Jurgen Klopp, to make a decision, maybe, for Liverpool.” Another deluded twat
  5. Hes been charged by the FA now for post Saints comments about refs ....but it was fine for Wenger to slag off the ref after we beat them
  6. The club got credit for buying the players he wanted last summer, and getting them early. Both he and the club got rightful praise for it. Now the club should get stick for not buying the players he wanted, and they have to get stick for buying players he didn't want and in the case of Papy, has never even seen play!
  7. He thought he could get the best out of Falcao- that hasnt happened, but Falcao and Remy should be more than adequate cover. As for a fullback, the board have been too stingy imo with regard to Stones, either of the Manc clubs or even liverpool would have coughed up what they want. Stones has covered at RB before. This was the plan until Terrys legs had gone.
  8. The club/board only gave him Begovic after selling Cech . They let him have Falcao on loan until after the disaster at Man city, aswell as shipping out or losing Drogba, Luis, Salah etc. Say what you want about their abilities but they were squad players and we had a small squad already before letting them depart. The club failed to back Jose in the summer and now we are suffering because of it. That said, I think Jose has to take some responsibility, but not all of it. Like he said we all (the club) need to take responsibility. Look what happened last year when they listened to him and he got his players in and did their business early. Bottom line hes one of the top 3 managers in the World. I can see a big January panic coming. Similar to torres/Luiz a few years back.
  9. This seems to allude Baba wasnt a Mourinho signing http://www.london24.com/sport/football/clubs/chelsea/mourinho_reveals_why_he_won_t_throw_new_boy_into_chelsea_defence_against_aston_villa_1_4258556
  10. We need action now, too many words. But to me it is way too premature to sack him. Brendan got 18 months, Wenger's had 10 years, Jose's had 8 matches so far...
  11. Definitely had a mixed bunch. Steve Clarke was good, Paulo was very good, Boularouz -remember him ? bit mental. Jose played Essien there who was surprisingly good, and I am sure Ranieri played Hasselbaink there or left back
  12. Return of Dark Clouds to Chelsea article above... "the question is what to do ?-all I know is we are in deep trouble"
  13. Of course theyre fucking plastic. Theyre running a business. End of. They dont spend all their disposable income following the team, get chelsea tatoos, queue, get treated like shit by stewards and the old bill. All they are interested in is making a profit. In terms of plasticity percentage Bates would be the most.
  14. Chelsea have had 3 owners. The Mears dynasty, Ken Bates and Abramovich. Not sure what you mean by plastic , but they are interested primarily in profit, and..er....thats it.Right now the board, and I think Maria will have quite a bit of input, will be looking at projected profit and loss scenarios with or without Jose. My guess is they will stick with the same employee at present.
  15. @supporter - great post and analysis. Also @Adnane your post earlier as well. Great positivity.
  16. Kop will have a minutes silence for Brendan next home game. They want Klopp. Rename the kop the Klopp. Kloppites
  17. Safe to say quite a few Chels wont be inviting him for dinner

  19. He put it all very well last night, I think: "This is a crucial moment in the history of this club. Do you know why? Because if the club sack me they sack the best manager this club ever had. And the message again is that if there are bad results, the manager is guilty. This is the message people have got over the last decade from Chelsea so this is a moment when people assume responsibilities, including me, the players and other people in the club. We need to stick together. This is what I want. I have no signs that anything changes. But you know the history of this club: every time the results are not good, there has been a change of manager. The power is always, in the end, with the owner and the board. But when I was contacted to come back, I was told: ‘We had so many managers, and we know you are the best.’ So I think it’s time for the club to act in a different way, to mark a position of stability, a position of trust. Three months ago we were on the bus with the cups, so it’s time for all of us to be together now at the bottom of the league. And I think, in December, January, February we will be top four. To be champions would be very, very difficult, but top four is completely do-able. Do the players trust me and feel I am the man for the job? This week we spoke about it and the answer was not in doubt. The supporters … when they booed the decision to take off Willian I would have done the same if I hadn’t known Willian was vomiting in the dressing room at half-time. If they have some negative reaction at the end, I’d do the same because the result wasn’t what we wanted.” And then went on to talk about playing youngsters: "Yes, I agree totally. My job is not so simple. I have to measure the situation & ask what's the best thing. Clearly it is not the time to play 4, 5, 6 kids. Because some are not ready. But I think Ruben is one that is more ready. I cannot name the players. I cannot say Peter and Carl and Anthony - I can't say. But it is easy to see some are in difficulty. I was never afraid of responsibility. One of the changes I am going to do, because he is the one that is ready, is Ruben."
  20. Fair play to her for reminding the FA that however outraged they appear now at the treatment of a "woman in football" they did absolutely nothing about the sexist abuse she used to get all the time from opposing fans, particularly that West Ham game where they ruled ''nothing had happened.''
  21. He was better against Porto, but its taken a lot of time for him to raise his game. Whether he can sustain it for a a while remains to be seen. Wont hold my breath
  22. The 80s were worse, but we had a massive loyal following
