  1. This isn't the 70s under Clough, or the 90s under Ferguson clubs don't operate like that anymore. It's laughable to think Mourinho, or any manager come to that is solely responsible for ins and outs nowadays. A Mourinho player is, for me all about personality and desire. Look at the great sides he had here and at Inter and Porto and the top players who gave everything to win. Not getting the ones he wanted in the Summer, the board or Abramovich getting rid of Cech...and then non-application from the remainder of the title winners for whatever reason brought out the Hitler in the bunker mentality.Hazard at Leicester, as an example, was the antithesis of what a Mourinho player is. Talent means little without application and hunger
  2. Its symptomatic of the fickle nature of fans though. Funny how its suddenly become very fashionable to bash Mourinho online, yet the same people were wanking over him last May.
  3. Just as important, if not more so, is the notion of Team Building. Theres no point in leaders if there's no cohesion. This is down to backroom staff, manager, Technical director as well as the players. At the moment there seems too much the 'cult of the individual'.
  4. Too right. No real fan would say such rubbish.
  5. Probably more chance with Matic tbh. Costa has fucked up seven one on ones this season.
  6. Welcome. Look forward to your posts.
  7. haha The Beezer. Used to get that literary gem.
  8. Fuck knows what licorice allsort players will be picked by Bertie Bassett Emanalo etc. What is a fucking must is players with attitude. Hungry fucking bruisers, like pre chelsea Drogba types, slightly psychotic Costa, Suarez characters who have something to prove. At the moment someone like Arnautovic would galvanise the procrastonators.
  9. Somethings happened to him though, (Ivanovich)as well as the loss of pace. Three times today he backed off, the fourth ocassion he pressed, won the ball set off an attack. Theres no way he'd have done that in 2014, 2013, 2012...but youre right Guus will continue to pick him.
  10. Exactly -I am chuckling at the thought of Clough or Fergie or even Wenger having been dealt Emanalo Arnesen on the other hand was a bloke who knew what he was doing.
  11. Yup Pardew old Shed boy. With either though, Sparky the most, how long do you think they'd put up with the interference of the Sibneft crew of Buck, Maria, and Tenenbaum let alone Mr 419 Emanalo ?
  12. But the illuminati have brain washed us into watching it now, I feel theres no esacpe
  13. Yup give him a go. Cut short the loan to Palarse I hear, his agent angling after a Jan transfer probably
  14. Pretty tricky with no striker, and even if Costa hadnt been yellowed against Watford I am not sure they compliment each other now. Hazard with Chicarito, now that would be better...
  15. Spot on, and the bloke has to be given credit for lack of playacting and no retaliation (well he did lose it a bit towards the end), but was at the end of his tether. He must be getting frustrated with no goals too.
  16. Cmon surely you wouldnt like to see his leg broken ?
  17. It's absolutely disgusting the amount Hazard is being fouled out there and not getting support by way of yellow cards. I accept there was one but my god how long did that take. He will get away soon and smash the winner.
  18. if I was paid 150k a week I would have done a bit of research DVDs /Youtube at least, after all he would have been sounded out for the job weeks ago, plenty of time to do some spadework. I admire youre looking for a positive, but he shit the bed today... Showed no managerial ability whatsoever, and has taken two points of Watford and United. Best to give him time, but I see his appointment nothing more than a PR excercise at the moment. Overall though all said and done, not a bad result without a striker, but obviously a draw was the gameplan
  19. If he ever does, its tactically as well as personnel that need sorting. If he wanted to change something it would have made perfect sense to play hungry players with something to prove -Kennedy, Traore and Loftus Cheek.
  20. Is John Terry picking the side, because I can't see the point of sacking Mourinho to bring in a manager and nothing changes. So we have to question who picks the team, and I'm guessing it is the captain. Surely Hiddink has been watching videos of the shit he is now in charge of?
  21. The studs on Willian, unpunished tackle on Zouma, the tackle on Oscar that could have put him out for six months..hows that for starters ?
  22. Atkinson is a fucking danger to players, ignoring the Rooney potential leg breaker, he shouldn't be allowed on a sunday league pitch let alone be our representative at uefa/fifa tournaments. This is the same bloke that booked Drogba after Evans kicked him in the chest
  23. Hes been brought in to steady the ship, more a PR move than anything. A sensible grandad after the crazy uncle to calm the players. Someone whos had succes to sit with Drogba next to the owner to create an illusion of stability. The reality i feel is anything but. Yes he was good, but I dont think the players will listen to him much, theyre just playing with freedom now, so we'll get erratic results. Next season a marque manager will arrive, but with our backroom clique, and track record, it'll be more revolving door. Then we wouldnt be Chelsea without drama and crisis.
