Agree with that, we dont need a Marque manager every time. If Athletico kept all their personnel over the years theyd surely be one of the best in the world. The reality is money talks and bullshit walks. Definitely need more of a hands off approach from the Russians' inner circle though, the way Ferguson was allowed to get on with it.

7 billion people in the World all with diffrent frames of reference. Obviously the ones that booed perceive the gooner barca cunt as one of the main underachievers and the media reports that morning of him saying he would rather lose than win for Jose obviously bring emotions to the fore after two or three pre match lagers. The TV coverage sound is very deceptive, coupled with commentators bias. Ivanovich was booed, the goal saved him from more. Think we're being a bit precious about the whole issue, its a football match, not a mosque or catholic mass. Though I would pay to see boooing at either
-
Not so sure. The arabs cashflow is quite a bit more fluid. The set up at Citeh with Qataris is very hands off, as at the other Lancashire club.
-
Mourinho was the best in some ways at continuity -the SB home record, the trophies and also in terms of revenue raised for the club- and ultimately back into Abramovichs wallet. Results =revenue, and for that reason it is highly likely that we will back to a hire and fire revolving door, because I cant see anyone (save maybe Guardiola), having a successful run of any substance and sustainability.

Well they should realise they cant get away with shit performances and earn the equivalent of a house per game that the fans work all their lives to acquire. It was only a small section anyway when the names were announced. If theyre paid a couple of hundred grand a week because of the fans arent the people paying that money entitled to vocalise ? You get fans booooing at SB every half time when its 0-0. You get individuals all throughout the game singling out players for dogs abuse. Not saying I agree with it -but its an emotional time -there was blue on blue agro yesterday in the Shed Upper. Also, it is a totally off the lead, group mentality attending than sat in front of a TV/keyboard. C'mon Choulo we're always banging on about free speech-doesnt that include booooage
-
If theyre men, they can get over it. How many grounds did JT get it, and still does. Theyre not babies, and we know how fickle fans are whether on the internet or attending -couple of good performances and all is forgiven. It really is no biggy.
-
Level of booooage and discontent, was pretty reserved in the traditional British sense actually. Look at Italian, Spanish, South American clubs if you want to see fan discontent. Wouldnt booo individuals myself, but attending fans are actually the foundation stones of the club-without them there'd be nothing else. In cyberspace their viewed as an aftrthought, and some people look down their noses at them. They, and we do, can do what they want within reason as far as I am concerned. (especially when we're away).

Course it was. He would still be here now if we'd the few players that were needed in the Summer that for some reasons -Abramovich, Maria, Emanalo wouldnt sanction. We would even be talking about CL qualification if Costa was firing on half the cylinders of 2014-15. Mourinhos not flawless -but who is ? Arrogant and for all his intelligence, can ge pretty obtuse as well sometimes. The treatment of the doctor, and lack of empathy, I think made a lot of players decide 'I am not going to be told what to do by that bully'. The trouble with hierarchy is that you will have a group surrounding, who keep schtum, and darent criticise. This applies to Mourinho and Abramovich. So they let Mourinho dig his own grave to a certain extent, and some like Emanalo loaded the gun. I believe we could have had continuity and continued success, but at a price that the board wouldnt sanction in terms of the emotional baggage, and fear that he became 'Mr Chelsea'. Life goes on, and time to look forward now.

Nows heres one player who was a bit of a transformation today. Not only the goal, but actually looking up before he crossed the ball, and seemed to have regained a bit of pace. I still wouldnt believe the ridiculous rumour about him and Eva though.....
-
Why is managing a 'global brand like Man Utd' any different to managing a global brand like Chelsea ? Its all about the money, money, money, ..and in the case of NY floated, debt ridden Utd even more so. The only question in all honesty is whether Mourinho would accept.
-
I dont like the singling out of individual players, but theyre not fucking gods, and deserve to recognise, that we pay for their mansions, ferraris, and as such have to earn our respect. I am sure theyre big enough and ugly enough to cope with it today. "Where were you when we were shit" epic and apt.
-
The last of the 'old guard' and hes firing up the team on his own. God, we'll miss him when hes gone...
-
At least Jose isnt a convicted fraudster and tax evaďer. 6 month suspended sentence and €45 000 fine. Guus you old rascal....
-
Pretty certain he'll go there. Combover Charlton has little influence at the Theatre of Shit any more, conversely the Greedy Glaziers would jump at the chance at some instant gratification, and could cope with 'the difficult second album' (Mourinhos chaotic third season), if it means silverware. The other clue was in Mourinhos second paragraph today, when he said hes staying in the UK.
-
Looks like his face has been in a fire. Your posts get stranger no twitter quote ??

The booage today will subside. Every poor run or defeat, the Mourinho chant will go up -and why not ? Without paying fans there would be no Abramovich, no club, and no twats in cyberspace, so they pay there money and can do what they like.. Better chant today was Emanalo, Emanalo, what a wanker, what a wanker Sunderland will go down albeit with Big Sam at the helm, no pressing, really shite. But they did hoghlight the frailties in our defence Guus will have to sort out. Mikel stesdied it when he came on -oh and his slide rule header. I am sure hes getting better. The more I look at it pretty certain we would not be in the predicament if we'd bought a striker - a poacher to replace Diego, who is clearly on crystal meth -Hernandez, now in bundesliga ?

Newton and Holland. Managing tomorrow -sounds like a 1950s music hall act.

Thanks for that -reckon we all need a laugh after the last 24 hours

Haha ! hes like reuters news agency

Its only passion, and only words. Free speech by fans, the people that prop up the game. We may not agree with it though People running the game get away with shitty actions, corruption, ripping us off is worse

The Myth of Longevity: Who we kidding?
Fulham Broadway replied to LDN Blue's topic in Chelsea Articles
It can be argued that the longevity we've had has been with a core group of players, of which Terry is the only one left. And it was this that kept the trophies and silverware coming. When Jose left the first time, I'll never forget Buck unveiling the unknown Grant saying he was ' taking us to the next level'. The charlatan inherited a tight squad of superb players, and it was like a disheveled tramp given the keys to a ferrari. I genuinely fear that we have no continuity now -but maybe that doesnt matter -simply hire, fire, and pay off the contract is the way forward. -
Cheats if they perform tomorrow ? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3364811/Chelsea-players-got-Jose-Mourinho-sack-dare-start-winning-Thrash-Sunderland-risk-looking-like-cheats.html

Gus in London apparently. One of my favourite managers. Gus is on the bus.....
