88 on his regular card about deserved after having one in form after the other. Though lucky that they don't do downgrades after march.

Yup always the same with fuckin EA. Chelsea players have been underrated in FUT since its inception. Anyway. we wil have a monster team next season. btw don't mind Fabregas going missing in big games. He has been bought as a flat track bully. His ability to smash the small sides is what we have been missing. Haven't we won almost every single big game without him last season?

Even though I still don't get why we did not simply give Cole an extension instead of splashing out 20m+ for a 29 year old player. On the other hand, 29 years is no age for a left back who has just started to hit his peak. Funny how the arguably best LB in the world did not even make the WC squad above Maicon. Our gain, as he now comes here fresh and untraumatised.

I am actually not too worried about the WC flops of our players, most did not even get a proper chance and are not at fault for the dismissal of their team. It is only the fuckin WC, the frist WC for most of our players, no wonder they have not set the world on fire. In the end, club football is why we are here and why our WC players are footballers. Even if my team wins the final on Sunday I will be really happy and celebrating for a few days, but in the end a WC is only a nice way to bridge the summer pause and does not give me remotedly the thrill of seeing Chelsea play. I guess it is the same for most of our players, esp those who never reall yhad a chance to achieve much in the WC. They should be professional enough to shrug off those disappointments, you always have. Not every Chelsea player can be World Champion, no reason why they should be in crisis because of that.

I hope this transfer is off now. he was Hummels's bitch yesterday.

Admittedly we look quite stupid for selling him atm but. We lost a great player and character. But he is miles better with Thiago Silva next to him. The semifinal where he will partner Dante, it will be clear why we would have been stupid to not accept the 50m.

Honest Question: Why do we have a Youth system?
Magic Lamps replied to Chelsea?'s topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Does our youth system really make profit? I reckon we got more than 50 players on loan and they generate loan fees, but how does that compare to the big contracts offered to youth prospects and the fees paid for players like Piazon, Kalas etc. we would not buy youngsters that expensive if our plan wasn't to integrate them in our team some time. If so, we would not gamble that big and simply produce decent player with low funds and decent rewards. So I would disagree with comments saying it just generates profits. -
I like the player at Fifa, but not exactly convinced with his world cup. Yes he is rather fast and strong, attributes i love at strikers, but I honestly don't think he is chelsea material. He belongs to the EPL but not here. I don't see much he offers over lukaku who will still grow. He is already 27, too. Keep in mind what signal this would send. We got loads of talented youngsters, still we will rather sign a 25+ year old, who is already a matured player.

Admittedly, Costa's sorry display does not say much about his quality as a striker but I would feel much safer with another option for CF position after the first week of the WC

Only makes sense when Mikel leaves and we need another DM to cover Matic. I am not quite sure whether we will revert to 4-3-3 or play Fabregas or Oscar at the pivot. Anyway, withour Mikel, Matic would be our only real DM and we need at least 2. ----Matic---- Oscar--Cesc and ----Song Ramy--Tiago looks tasty to me.

He was one of spain's better players, but Spain almost played asymetrical, with everything going over the left side. Azpi was isolated on the right.
-
He'd only cost about 15m as his contract will expire next year. But honestly, we already got an army of wingers. would only make sense if one of our main wingers Hazard, Schürrle, Willian, Salah would leave or injure himself. And even in that case, maybe Atsu or Piazon could make up for that (esp if only Salah was injured). btw I just realized that Yarmolenko almost looks like myself. lol.

The opposite is the case. The mistake was committed because a lack of technology. A supervising ref in front of a TV with a neutral Camera perspective could easily decide it wasn't a penalty.

Every fuckin day, I check the news nothing, one fuckin day when I have uni and do not check the news, FAbregas signs. Anyway. Welcome to Stamford Bridge, Fabregas, you have a lot to remedy. And IN YOUR FACE ARSE

Sure? I am pretty sure, Rugby League only became the working class game when Rugby was divided into Union (for the upper middle class and above) and League. Before, Rugby was played in the - also posh- grammar schools whilst football, which everyone could play with just a ball and no deeper knowledge of the rules was played predominantly by factory workers and their children. Even though you are right, the origins of football are very posh, but quickly it became the working class's game.

It does not really matter what Blatter says and if his claims are justified in that special case. He is a corrupted scumbag who has lost it completely. The whole FIFA is corrupted to the core and the 2018 (probably) and the 2022 WCs have been bought. Slowly but surely that corruption in football will carry off the sport if the people do not cut off the cancer.

If lUkaku is really to leave Chelsea, it is because of pride. And in terms of the best young striker I have seen in the last 5 years, personal resentiments have to be cast aside. Rom deserves to play for us on merit of his abilites.
-
the thing i appreciate about fabregas is that he will be great against parked buses. We had no problems winning the big games without him, but as he has been Arsenal's leading flat track bully, he should have no problems playing those decisive passes.

Nah Bayern still got the most. Wolfsburg will become the 2nd force in German football eventually. But 30m for Lukaku would be the 3rd highest transfer sum ever paid by a German club. It is interesting how the Bundesliga has withstood all that hype and seldom made to big transfers. Still has some decent teams. Anyway 30m is not enough for Rom, given we bought him for 20 or so. IMO if he really wants to stay, there is a possibility he will. Even though it would be typical Chelsea to sell such a player.

Finally a striker. He is also awesome on Fifa btw. I hope he is not worn out after that season, the wroldcup and the injury. Honestly, I'd rather he had the medical after the world cup.
-
I hope he signs a new contract so he can play with his beloved no 10 even longer.
-
Better his testimonial being fuckin epic. Deserves a season full of testimonials tbf.

All amazing goals and memories. Such a legend. It is hard to pick even 10 best goals as their have been so many beautiful and vital ones. To add to those already listed: His jumped, outside of the boot lob-volley against Stoke in 2010. Even though it was not very important, it was remarkable , never seen something like this before. Tremendous and very underrated skill to weigh the power of the cross so that it lobs the keeper. I also liked the one vs Lazio, one of his first goals for us in europe. That much bend on the ball His winning goal vs Mancity in 2008 was brilliant, too. What a run, dribbling past two defenders to unleash an incredibly hard and precise low drive from just inside the box. His mega-long range freekicks vs ipswich and tottenham will also ever be remembered. One goal, no one will remember is the one he scored against frankfurt in a pre-season loss. i remember it because i was there, in the frist row. He came in and minutes after took on a high loose ball with his chest and diverted it towards goal, gliding past the completely surprised defenders, somehow managed to poke it under the outrushing keeper and smacking it into the net.

Fabregas often labelled Lamps as his idol and thought "one day I'll get even better than him". compare Fabregas at 27, the eternal talent vs Lampard at 27 best midfielder in the world.

Just read it is official. Right now I feel nothing, it will sink in eventually, but I still can't believe this is real. It just does not feel right - too early. The last 10 years i have seen almost every game of him and it was absolutely woth it. I will write him a piece when I got some more distance.
