Bc PL refs and their entire organisation are a corrupted snake pit that is hugely incompetent as well. They are so busy with sucking up their favourite teams pool and manure that they forget what their actual job is at which they are shitty anyway.

Champions League Final 2021 - Man City 0-1 Chelsea
Magic Lamps replied to Jase's topic in Champions Archive
Those are bad foresigns again. would be mad to lose the damn super cup for a fourth time in a row va arguably the weakest side but the euros is obviously a huge advantage for villareal. It is also weird that the europa league champ only has 6 international players and the rest have a summer long holiday. On the plus side, many guys like Azpi, RJ will be just riding the bench for most parts and will not exactly be overplayed such that they need a mega holiday. Probably will also not lose as much fitness as players who have the whole summer off -
True or not, with Varane apparently also set to join PSG they are gonna be a strong contender next sesaon again.
-
Not sure either. Other reports have it that hakimi already agreed personal terms with us... guess we will see
-
I'd drive Alonso to the airport myself if this is the dealbreaker for inter. Hakimi can cover for both wing backs + we would either keep around emerson instead or still could buy another half decent left wing back like Bensebaini. Also have heard good things about Declan Firth from the u23.
-
For them the question is if they finish in or out of the CL and that is worth a lot more than 25m
-
Dude is crazy. Probably the only player left playing who already was there when I started watching football. 20 years ago.
-
Lol he was born in NYC and lived 12 years in Ottawa. Why would anyone think he did not speak English at all? Maybe if he developed dementia at age 7 😂
-
Could also point to Rüdiger having used the time on the bench to get his shit together, do some analysis of his play and improve in training. It is easy to point fingers at other but after all the stupid individual not tactical errors Toni committed in 2019/20 even the worst coach in the world would have rightly sat im on the Bench.
-
I think with that blonde pixie cut he looks like Katy Perry a few years back lol
-
Rüdiger would be a big loss, especially as we do not seem to be lining up any concrete CB moves. It appears those have been postponed to after Thiago Silva leaves but I think we could cope even with both leaving. There are so many decent CBs around and TT has shown he can get the best out of pretty much any CB. Only zouma has not really improved but that is probably more down to his own limitations.

How will this work? When both lines get thicker,it does not make a difference. if both lines or rather stripes now are still the same width, the edges of the lines will still underlap if there is an offside. The only sensible thing would be to make only the blue onside line that is drawn along the defender thicker so it overlaps the red offside line.

never seen him play but his stats look underwhelming probably BS anyway
-
whatever happened to that guy. played a brilliant world cup 2018 and never heard of him since.
-
fine for me. Get in Sancho, Lacroix, a DM and Hakimi if we mut and be done with it. I don't mind insisting with Kai as false 9. If we have Sancho we will not even need to play with Werner all the time.
-
Not a fan of Lautaro. He is exactly what we do not need. Not too fast, small, weak, does not play the game at a high enough tempo. Honestly I'd rather have Lukaku than Lautaro if we sign someone from Inter. I can absolutely see him being a massive bust in CL.

At some point there has to be a cap of reason to what a footballer can actually cost. Given he should be expected to at least bring the kind of money in he costs, for an enterprise with roughly half a bn turnover justifying the acquisition of an asset that costs almost as much while income sources are mostly not scalable and already mainly exploited is a huge stretch. Especially if it just one out of dozens of assets it has to maintain in order to be operational. So in a best case scenario by how much is Haaland gonna increase our cashflow if he wins us PL and CL every year? I would expect us to finish top 4 and round of last 8 CL every season. Then maybe 30,40m extra by Haaland at best. Sponsors and kit sales 10-15m. So we would break even in about 8-9 years maybe we could move him on to Real for a decent price then it might end up a good deal. But this scenario is highly ficticous. So I estimate the probability this ends up a bad deal is significantly higher.

Weird when you look at the Portugal lineup and Penaldo is just the 3rd or 4th best player. (Penandes and Dias surely better IMO and arguably Bernardo Silva or Jota as well). Honestly I'd be happy if they field Penaldo as single striker vs our NT. High chance he will be in Toni's pocket all day long. We usually spank Portugal at major tournaments but this year the sides are pretty evenly matched. So if they want to break their duck it's now or never.

I did not like RJ as RCB tbh. He is too short and I think we are wasting his offensive abilities esp his crossingand pace there. He also has the occasional brain fart which caused us to concede 2 goals in the few times he played rcb and would much less impact us if he stayed RWB. I would much rather see him as DM like he was at wigan for some time if he has to change position at all.
-
I think that is too much. 70m pounds for a player we don't actually need would be taking the piss. The haaland case is different, I can see why we badly need a striker like him but honestly the deal overall would be a serious chunk of our club's tournover even with the shitload of money the club made this year so we would again rely heavily on Roman to fund it. That being said if you look at Haaland goals he scores most of them in situations that will simply not occur in the premier league. Defending in Bundesliga has regressed to an absolutely ridiculous level. He will still score goals here and loads of them but i think PL will make him look more like a very good but not an absolute world class striker. If he really wants to be like ibra than look at how many CL titles that guy has won. it was no coincidence itner won it once he left and barca didn't. To win CL you need have a tatically disciplined team. Haaland is not a tactical player.
-
Why are we even talking about AC. No way the club will use a CB, a position in which we are barely covered as a makeweight to get a luxury signing in a position in which we are. AC is surely gonna sign a new contract and stay.
-
they are both terrible. De gea is just slightly less bad. genuinely think unai simon is currently their best bet
-
if they bid 50m again we should take the money and run. Maybe CHO is gonna come good one day but he sure as hell won't come good here. the ghana thing is a bit weird. He is like the most english guy ever but i guess he will neve rhave a look in for England NT so if he wants to play internationally so bad. Honestly if I were a baller, I'd rather not play internationals at all than play for 2nd rate NT. Esp if it would mean missing a significant part of the club season. Makes a player a less attractive propsect in an instant

In other news Silas Wamangituka has apparently been playing under false identity. Stuttgart and the player will be punished by dfl.

Expected. Is he retiring from football as well? Would be a fitting end. Will miss his world class save and schoolboy error per game style of of yolo goalkeeping lol always appeared to be a very likeable and popular guy. Thanks for your service Wily
