Just re-watching his goals and actaions in this years Champions League campaign gives me shivers.

Drogba won the ECL not Di Matteo

Win together, go down together. Football as we love it and as we hate it. Every player that ever played for us in this years CL campaign deserves his medal and his share of the fame. They all did a fantastic job. No use to single out Drobga as we all know how important his influence is/was. He was amazing, but he wouldn´t be there without the team around him. Di Matteo was just as integral as DD11 or Lamps or Cech; infact, without the galvanising effect and the common sense of Di Matteo we would be absoloutly devastating. In short, no need to over-dramatise stuff. -
I am speechless and sad. It was inevetible. But to see a legend like Didier go and to see how so much energy and "match turn arounds" go leaving is just sad.

Who gives a shit what "non fans" are thinking ? Obviously Bayern played better football in terms of possession, shots on goal/target, corners, passes, whatnot. Result: 1 goal. This Chelsea team played to it´s strength. Defending, grinding out results, doing it the hard way. Result: 1 goal, 4 scored pens and the trophy. Haters gonna hate; let them cringe. I certainly couldn´t give less than two cold hearted shits about that. We´ve been through a hell of a season, and now people come say "oh yeah, well done, but your pass statistics doesn´t look that fancy". How fucking boring can one be ? As the Gary Neville put it in his deep knowledge of the game "This is more than football."

Where will you be during the Champions League Final?

Leaving for my Girlfriends hometown now. It is the most quiet town on the coastline of GErmany. One couldn´t find more anti-climax. I am losing it already. I don´t what´s better, to get fired up with my friends (all non-chelsea but in this case chelsea-supporters) in the pub or somewhere far, far away to appreciate a private moment of madness. In any case, it will be eeffing mental. It is just another two days. The fact that we are playing this, still hasn´t sunk in. -
Basicially what Daglish wanted but couldn´t make the players play. So he diverted to a game plan which involves training ground passing routines. Didn´t work either way. Would be weird to see AVB in a liverpool tracksuit. I can´t see it happening though.

THIS topic has to go. It always gives me the shivers, because if he actually went then it is Liverpool´s season next seasn

Very bad. They were disolved soon after the Nazis took over because they were found by Jews who were interessted in a modern and cosmopolitan approach to football. They were amongst the first clubs who brought in foreign players and paying fair wages and all. Whenever they play in Israel or against an Israeli team they wear a white shirt although their away kit is black, because they don´t want to resemble to SS uniforms out of respect for the victims of the Holocaust. The other club in Munich, 1860 Munich, were the ones treated well by the Nazis because they were the opposite of Bayern Munich, only playing Bavarian footballers and being deeply rooted in that "blood and soil" ideology.

Interessting. Does that mean that he doesn´t comment on matches anymore ? That would be a shame. Really like him as a pundit and commenator.

That remains to be seen, i would say. They do have the best financial situation. But as we saw today, it didn´t matter to much, they were absoloutly lucky to win this. You sound like one of these apocalyptic priests on a high street, repeating that same one thing all the time without any actual prove. For all the money they have, they just managed to win the title. Who says that if we win the CL we won´t attract a lot of hot piss players ? History won´t repeat itself you say, but also history never happens exactly the way we try to predict it also. So, let´s wait and see, and hope that Chelsea will do some good buisness over the summer so that we can attack in the League next year.

Good free flowing football in the first half. I wouldn´t read too much into Didiers appearance. I think RDM wanted to test out his options for saturday. Delighted for Terry and Raul to get their last goals this season. Lukaku looked promising. Needs a little more time. And never did a Yakubu goal mattered so little. PS: I´ve been listening to Paul McCartney w/ Wings for the whole afternoon. Couldnt´ve been more anticlimatic.
-
Meanwhile, Daniel Sturridge is deconstructing himself piece by piece.
-
I see the subs more as a test run for Saturday.

This matchday is sooooo much fun ! Wished there was a way to watch all the games at once.
-
Is Bertrand in our CL squad ?
-
Wasn´t it Essien how teached him that word ? I like that he just uses one of the most distinctive street slang words to announce his tweets and messages. He is certainly a geezer.
-
Can´t believe that the season is almost over already. It has surely been of the most exciting in terms of competativeness and certainly a wild ride for us. Now I have to find something else to do on the weekend. Not sure if I like that.

He would be the player to mess with Bayerns tactics. They wouldn´t be able to cope with his pace, he´d simply overrun their midfield and trouble their fullbacks. Such a shame that his missing that out. But i think it is fair to say that without him we wouldn´t be anywhere near where we now are. He really got us going or at least tried something going forward when there was absoloutly nothing going on. I am glad we have him. We´ve been really missing someone like him since Essien is more of a pedestrian type of player.

Martin Skrtl ALWAYS looks like a thug. I can´t imagine him being a nice guy, I just can´t.
-
It was my initial reaction, i am sorry. But yes, it is down to a certain awareness that i see this picture in a different way. Unfortunatly we find stuff like right wing extremism and their symbols in modern football more and more, and having been in the situation myseld being confronted with antisemitic chants and national-socialist symbols on matchdays, i am just asking for a very sensitive use of imagry like that, because it can and will be understood differently.

Nice touch, given that Yossi is jewish and that bloke there is giving the Hitler Gruss. Well done, mate.

In a pub in the quietest of costal towns in Germany. ( my girlfriend and i are visiting her parents, yes yes, i know, but we booked the trains when AVB was just sacked...) It is gonna be interessting. Germans tend to support Bayern even if it´s not their team or they absoloutly them.
