  1. Torres man of the match. Good game for the lad. Hopes he can build on that. Finally it happens for him.
  2. yes. i totally regret watching the footage of it. it is just making me feel sick to be that close to someone who is on death´s door, as alex put it. but i think the coverage is quite sensitive about it in not showing the whole thing and showing the players, fans and so on and so forth. webb really handet the situation very well. respect to the man in such a dreadful situation.
  3. frustrating. had our chances , just put them away. strange performance by Iva
  4. who´s that 2nd commenatator ? he´s a very opinioated man. really works himself up here about everything.
  5. makes sense. still proves my point about the state of women in football.
  6. how about how shit the oppositions bench looks compared to ours ? it is amazing how much attention she gets for being female. says so much about the state that coorporate football finds itself in, gender equality wise.
  7. He´d say something like "I´ve never lost at Stamford Bridge...JT/Lamps here are your retirement plans, David Luiz team captain playing upfront from now on, Torres sold for 10 million to PSG"
  8. In that case I would do a Henrique and just call for the sack out of pure stubborness and principle.
  9. Readind names such as Sven G-E and Rafa B makes me sick. We now that there is only one guy that would be ballsy enough to take that job and carve it out and stuff it again with lovely omletts and i am not talking about Arsène Wenger. If we don´t get this guy, i won´t hold my breath because obviously Pep is not gonna come to Chelsea at this point.
  10. True. All of a sudden Robbie finds himself in the hotseat. Obviously he is not under the same pressure as AVB, who hopefully will be very successful now with a non-english team. That guy has talent, he is erratic and all, but i like his honesty and his sense of realism. If given the time he´ll build something big. Inter maybe ? All things aside, hopefully Mourinho signs a 14 year contract, getting all the authorities on football issues, by the end of the week.
  11. DiMatteo for the rest of the season. I guess he did alright with WBA but this is a fucking joke. If they appoint Rafa or Capello i am even more pissed off. AVB was the right guy, believe it or not. I hope Henrique is over the moon.
  12. Wait and see, Arry to get the England job and AVB takes over at Spurs and has a faithful chairmen and a team of non spoiled big egos or a board being patient enough to see things through. IT IS FUCKING DISGUSTING how this club is run. I am embarressed by it, to say the least. I´ve been here when things weren´t rosy, but this is the worst time to be a Chelsea fan for me, personally.
  13. Thats a dagger in the heart. Disappointed, gutted, fucked off. I am lost for words. That leaves me speechless. It is a joke, such a fucking joke. Talented manager after talented manager getting the sack. That defenitly takes time to say "I am a Chelsea supporter" with pride.
  14. Would be sad to see Essien, Ash and Didier go. True legends. I hope we can keep Essien though for 3 more seasons. We need someone stable in midfield if this season is the end of Lamps dominiation in midfield. But hey ho, a lot of talentend players in the last row of your picture there.
  15. Another good example of a football club that hasn´t been all that and now finds it way back to the top is Borrussia Dortmund. CL winners, several Bundesliga titles, European football, decline, misery, no way out, and now they are producing the finest football in Germany and look more settled than last year. They gave Klopp all the time he needed and he was respectively young and came in with lots of different ideas compared to the conservative Bundesliga.
  16. that is one aspect. on the other hand his whole carreer on which he has to build his financial well being in the future is on the brink as well. but yes, you have a point, he shouldn´t be too worried about his pay packet.
  17. The situation is unreal. The media are hackleing AVB all the time, in order to get him sacked, blowing every bit the fella says out of porportion. When he ultimatly sacked they won´t go home and rest, no, they will go on and report about the 'inconsistency' at Chelsea, and how AVB wasn´t such a bad guy afterall, trying to establish something at Chelsea which was deemed to be a long term project. Then there is this hack, let´s call him Djossé Mu. who only has to say the words 'England' 'return' 'someday' and AVB is obviously under fire by the media instead of asking the man J.M. further questions or do reports on his claims and aims. Long story ,that everyone knew before anyway, short: The media creates it´s own stories when there isn´t real news to report and stories to cover. It.is.pathetic. And tragic. Hopefully the board and AVB sit somewhere tight and talk football and not about this nonsense that we on twitter relying fans have to take apart word by word, day by day. R.E.D.I.C.O.L.O.U.S
  18. Oh my goodness, this gets all well mad. Mourinho in LDN to re-join Chelsea when on the brink to win the league with Madrid and good chances in the CL ? Yes, certainly.
  19. At this point in the whole Torres Football Dystopia I just want something positive to happen to the lad. It is just a sad story. Hopefully he´s got some good private life going on and some sort of a belief. Being excluded by the national team was inevitable and being dropped to the bench even though he looks like he is trying very hard... I just feel for the fella. Sorry, just read the post-ban on this.
  20. is Luiz playing ? nevermind, just saw a glimpse of his hair
  21. on that article on the guardian today: lazy journos at work. they really need an "AVB blog a day", otherwise they go on cold turkey. the problem with 24/7 news about football is that actually not that much happens. AVB stating the obvious without any hint to some news somewhere, boombast into a "AVB on the brinks" story and almost in talks with other clubs. i should stop reading the papers, it is just depressing.
