Happy Birthday Eden! Thank you for being one of the most enjoyable and professional players I've ever witnessed playing for this club.

How on earth can someone want Simeone OR Guardiola? Those two are completely contradictory in Football philosophies, makes no sense how people would want both of them. I don't want to see Simeone anywhere near us. We're at a stage where we have to choose what path we want to take, either we're gonna be be an attacking side or a physical, counter-attacking one. The latter for me is not suited for long term as it burns players out and generally proved to not be successful for the long term. Personally I hate to see my team playing like a small side.

If we're gonna sell him I hope we don't use the money on Bale mainly because I don't think he is good enough. We should go for Reus instead.
-
Rafa's problems at Madrid had more to do with dire Football, with or without results. Plus, he was always a mistake for Madrid. His team's record against top opposition in this season is horrible.
-
Do we really have to sell Oscar? I mean look at the our bench, we could really use some quality there. Oscar can be decent rotation with any of our attacking mids. I don't see other teams selling a player before buying another one in the same position.
-
He has perfected the last ditch tackle. Still needs to work on his awareness though. Gary should have been benched for him last season. Glad to see Zouma take hold of his starting place in the team.
-
I don't get the fuss around the whole 'Matic vs Mikel' debate. Both have different qualities and will be used in different types of games.
-
Normally he's shite in games like this but he was very good today and strong against their pressing. They couldn't get near him in the second half.
-
Pace and power. Costa at his best. Hiddink really knows how to use Costa's emotional character in his and more importantly the team's favour. Of course he's been struggling with form but but that's not something new with strikers. A huge part of our 'awakening' relies on him, hope the big man keeps it up.
-
We're playing very cohesive Football . We're not looking clueless out there. Clearly Hiddink has worked on the collective attacking quality of the side. Now go for the killer. I felt very nervous at the end of the first half.

Love the new update. It feels much smoother and quicker. Best thing about it for me as an Ipad user is that now I can format my posts in the full version of the site. TC continues to be the best community for Chelsea fans.

He posted this on his instagram: https://www.instagram.com/p/_9-rFHlYBM/ Is he going to be handed his debut? Those sweet sweet two minutes in added time.
-
If Diego focuses on playing Football we can win this game. Without him on form, our chances of getting 3 points are very close to zero.
-
If he has the slightest bit of ambition he shouldn't even be thinking of joining us.
-
Who the fuck are they playing long balls for? Oscar is fucking shite. Please attack. I feel United are very vulnerable at the back.
-
We've been shite this season no matter who started for us. Our results depend more on the way we play, not who we play. I hope Guus has the team improved in that regard.
-
Wouldn't have been that annoyed if we got rid of him for a proper alternative. The fact that we have an average player like Oscar taking on the responsibility is what makes me livid.
-
I understand, but what frustrates me so much is that he would back off all the way into the net if he had to. We badly need a proactive defender.
-
I've had enough of him. He still backs off against strikers, very amateur. Doesn't he know that at some point you've got to make a tackle? I hope Guus knows all about this fraud before he starts backing off against fucking Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
-
Players, especially strikers, face bad patches of form every now and then. Costa is a good striker and if he continues to focus on his game he will be a valuable asset. Well done Diego. He will not be there on Monday but we have a more than reliable alternative in Remy.
-
The things I would do to have Guardiola here...
-
If we beat a team like Watford that has a solid defence and threats up front, I will start to believe we can get a winning streak going.
-
To be a top side we need to play like a top side. Our players are at a stage where they don't want to be the underdogs, this seems to be very clear right now. Once players reach the stage where they are expexted to win the league or champions league, the counter-attacking style of football has less chance of succeeding. Come on Roman, we are in desparate need of becoming a dominant side again. Most of the recent Champios League winners played attacking and positive Football. Attacking Football should be much preferred to counter-attacking as a football philosphy if we are to remain a top club for a long time.
-
United are now at a stage where they need to start winning things. They're basically at the same stage we were when Mourinho came back. They have young players mixed with some experience ones. Mourinho will probably do well for them in the first and second year. Hell, he might even win the title. But what will also happen is that he will fail to promote youth, play attacking Football and the players will eventually turn against him. United would sell their future if they are to sign him up, even if it is for a league title. At the end of the story it would be one step forward, two steps back for Man United.

If we're going to buy a striker I would have a serious look at Paco Alcacer. He has great movement and is a very clever player. Very talented and only 22 years old. I think he would suit our team very well.
