I love Rambo! He has always gave his best, even been a quality player until the last one or two seasons. He has been a great servant to this club. But it's time to move on for both parties, and when 25m and a wild RLC are knocking on the door, the temptation to sell only gets bigger.
-
Agree. Ivanovic looked like he just couldn't keep up in the last 10 mins, Zouma did a great job in that period. That run at the end though!
-
I seriously fucking love this guy. So clutch, so amazing, such a warrior. I just can't believe the people who were asking for him to be sold. A rough patch of form is very common in strikers, especially when everybody around you is playing terrible and there is a toxic atmosphere within the dressing room. Keep it up future legend.
-
What can I say, he was brilliant again. People can talk about all the space he was given after Arsenal went down to 10 men, but he was pulling the strings and controlling everything prior to Mertesacker's red card as well. I don't know what Hiddink feeds him, but whatever it is it has him playing with class again. However, I like this Cesc even more than the one at the beginning of last season. He has added intensity to his game which makes him much less susceptible to the opponent's pressing. It's refreshing to see. If he keeps playing this way he is going to be very important.

Oh wow. Did you forget his performance at Old Trafford just weeks ago? Two mistakes don't change his value.
-
I wonder if there is a single brain cell in people who come up with these rumors. We struggle to sign John Stones, yet some outlets think we can sign one of if not the best centre back of this generation.
-
Don't think he is the type of player to be happy at being second choice. We would have ruined his career if we signed him just like we did with Remy.
-
"Sell the potential, Keep the shite" - The Chelsea way. First ivanovic, then lavezzi and pato, and now fucking around on signing this guy. We're a joke.
-
The way our board treats our legends is absolutely disgraceful.
-
Sampaoli over Simeone any day. I'm well and truly tired of negativity and conservatism surrounding this club. I don't understand why so many fans have been brainwashed into thinking that defensive and counter-attacking football is the Chelsea way. In 2012, our style of play was reflective of the quality of players we had in the team. Chelsea Football Club and its fans are in dire need of positivity and an eye for the future. Simeone(although he does pay attention to youth) is clearly a no no for me.
-
It doesn't matter that some of our players are in top form if Guus will go ahead with a conservative approach to the game. All I'm asking for is natural full-backs. That would make us much more threatening on the attacking front.
-
Although I'm usually one of his critics I'm still surprised at the quiet state of this thread. Imo Cesc gave a top performance against a team that attack and press very well. Really looks like a class above our other central mids at the moment. He has added intensity to his game which is nice. We're going to need him the champions league if he keeps playing this way.
-
He just looks so miserable when he is on the pitch. Not only confidence is a problem but his first touch is horrible, his ball retention is awful and he is very very average defensively. For the moment I don't feel at all comfortable with him in the line-up. Always seems to be on a day where he is going to give a penalty away/get sent off. So clumsy.
-
What on earth are some people in this thread on about? JT had a really solid game. He made some crucial interceptions and his tackling was on point. In the second half he was a vital component of our comeback not only because of his goal but because of his good defensive work.
-
What annoyed me the most is him having a go at Zouma after Zouma just saved his ass once again by covering against Mirallas. He's horrible.
-
I give up. This guy is the definition of wank. He seriously needs to be sold in the summer. If I see him and Ivanovic in the starting line-up of the first game of next season, I will agree with Henrique's statement on how we won't win the league for the next five years. It will further prove our board's incompetence and lack of the hunger to be a top club. Oscar, Ivanovic, Ramires, Matic. These are the four major players that have to be sold.
-
Parking the bus at home against West Brom to grind out a win is just pathetic. We're in a shambles and I don't know how to trust Guus when he talks about 'false security' the week before but then puts on Matic to secure a win a week later.
-
4 goals + 1 assist in 3.
-
He is wasted in the #10 role. Play him as a box to box CM please.
-
RLC coming on.
-
Zouma is beast. Cahill is shite. We're playing great Football.
-
Always was going to happen wasn't it.
-
For me it's more the case of Bale being average than Hazard being that good.
-
This doesn't make any sense. You don't know the slightest bit of detail regarding those incidents yet you're talking as if you were there. Huh? Dismissing Carneiro was very unfair. How can you say the club has thousand of reasons for her demotion? She was doing her job and did nothing wrong. I can't find a single reason to do so.
-
Bale isn't half the player Hazard is. The only qualities he has over him are his shooting, strength, and defending. Hazard is much quicker than him off the mark, which is what really matters as we're going to play against parked buses a lot. Hazard has better vision, a million times better dribbling and technique. I don't even understand why there is a comparison here. The Welshman is an average player when compared to Hazard. In fact Bale lacks basic Football understandings and would not thrive in a top side. He will get exposed once Madrid players start turning up again. Reus is your man if you want a Hazard replacement.
