Where are his eyebrows? He looks like a weird mutant ninja turtle in this picture!

What's with all the negativity? First of all, yes we won, and as you say so yourself, that's all that matters. 3 points are in the bag. The way we got it? I thought it was great. Yes we could've kept a clean sheet and yes 0-3 would've been better than 1-3 but there's a lot of positives from this match: - unlike you I don't think Courtois (or Cech for that matter) should've or could've kept the Burnley goal from going in. It was a canonball from pretty close rang (a meter or two closer than the edge of the box) - you blame the "mentality of conceding first and look for the goal after". I think it's great that the team could come back so quickly after conceding. Last year we often struggled to score against lesser teams, even more if they were ahead because they could defend even more. Now we scored the equalizer very quickly after their goal. We scored three in 20 minutes! - You say "props for the win but not the way we got it"? I'm delighted with the way. Ok, not conceding would've been better and yes the second half was indeed more boring, you're right in saying that. But we got ahead two goals and then killed of the game. That's great! Last year (and especially the year before that with the fat Spanish waiter in control) we often let the other team get back into the game. Now we built a comfortable lead and than killed the game. Boring? Yes. Wise? Yes! We saved energy for the next match. You say we should've scored 7 and went for it 100% after getting 1-3 ahead because we could lose to goal difference at the end of the season. I say control the game, conserve energy, make changes so key players (Hazard, Shurrle) get rest and at the end of the season we might not need the goal difference because conserving energy might change our next draw into a victory. And I'd prefer the two extra points over a +2 goal difference. At the end of the day, killing the game is the smarter way to play. I'd say we played that well. I'm glad we killed the game although I'll admit it's more boring. But our second half was far from "pathetic". And you're right in saying that we should chase the goal first and try not to concede. Of course that's true, but I don't think Chelsea were planning to give the opposition the lead but these things happen. I'm just glad we had it in us to bite back and win. I think overall we played great and I usually don't react a lot on here but after reading your post I just had to.

Everyone has to be back 30/07.
-
Courtois? Allthough he'll only be integrated next season, but the decision has been made.

Salas, the secret lovechild of Salah and Kalas

What does Jose's ego have to do with this? Lukaku asked for a loan, back in august/september. Jose simply gave Romelu what he asked for.

Just beat them 3-0 on fifa 14. Lampard, schurlle and again schurlle with the goals, Azpi MOTM. And of course we all know that what happens in FIFA is a very accurate prediction of what will happen in real life so I'm pretty confident we'll win this one, three nill.

Oscar's not playing too well... Hazard less good than usual as well. Willian great though, so not the entire attacking three aren't having their day as some on here are saying
-
I have no idea what you mean by that

The so called famous Mourinho hexagon is the same as six of the famous so called Barcelona triangles, same thing different name. Mourinho doesn't have a hexagon, barcelona doesn't have triangles. The hexagon is just made up of six triangles, and every time you have three players on a field, they will form a triangle. But the Mourinho Hexagon does sound very badass

Hazard was magnificent and deserves to be Man of the Match. But Azpi was excellent at left back as well, Cahill was rock solid and proves he can lead the defense without John Terry and strangely enough Iva had a good first half as a right back. He actually played more like a real fullback instead of a center back and was often found in the attacking third. But all I really want to say is: TOP OF THE LEAGUE!!! Massive three points! Arsenal got powned, City haven't scored two games in a row, Hazard has won his first hattrick for the blues, we got another cleansheet and we're top of the league when I was just hoping we might be second. What a great day! :blue scalf:

This guy deserves more praise for the great game he had at the Etihad. Great goalkeeper! Although we could've scored more (hit woodwork twice) they could've equalized just as easily and this guy is what stopped them. He was great.

Looks like Zorro to me

If we get a clean sheet tomorrow, we'll have BPL's best defense (only 20 goals conceded in 23 games). If we concede one, we'll have joint best defense with Arsenal. The Mourinho effect: first making sure our business is solid at the back And if we win tomorrow (adding 1 or 2 to our goal deficit) we'll hop over Arsenal to second place after Man City. Should City lose, we'll even go top of the league. I expect us to go second, tomorrow. Come on you Blues, I'm hoping for something like a 2-0 win! :blue scalf:

Didn't see the game. I watched Southampton vs Arsenal, and YES, le arse drew and thus we can come level with them (overtaking them on goal deficit) tomorrow. So I don't know how Mata did but my fantasy premier league account says he got an assist...

We will not be signing Cavani this summer, and RVP, Rooney, Januzaj and Mata are not the best forward-four in the league... It is definitely a very good and effective forward-four though. Goodbye Mata, I'll miss you in a blue shirt. The Norwich game in which you debuted was the first Chelsea game I got to see live

Man, this is a Chelsea forum and fans of the opposing teams are welcome here to discuss their opinions, but there's no need to call us names. You can talk about Mata going to United here, without calling us names. I'm very sad Mata is leaving, you guys get one hell of a player. Now try not to be a cunt yourself, 'cause that's all you're making out of yourself by calling us one.

Another three points and a clean sheet please! We've been doing very good lately

After the fuss and long discussion created in the Oscar thread after his dive, I would've expected people here to talk about Ramires' dive. Nothing though, even several hours after the game? Turns out if two players make the same mistakes, some people will only make a fuss about it when they don't like the player. Ramires is a great player though! Although diving, not so great... And he shouldn't play on the right wing. Mou calls out Suarez for diving, less than a week later two of ours have dived
-
A Witsel signing would be huge! He would play well in our pivot, has great passing (Mou's counter-attack) and holding abilities. I'm surprised this topic has been so quiet lately... But it's not going to happen... Price is too high even though we need someone like him now that Lampard's injured for the next month and might retire, if not after this season then the next.

Oscar makes things happen! Two assist!

Ramires, that was sexy
