City equalise in the 66th minute. With their first shot on goal ffs

Ironic that you're commenting about how Hazard deserves the recognition today (which I fully agree with btw) and then go on to post about Lampard in the Hazard thread. Leave the Lampard discussion for the Lampard thread, and the Hazard discussion for here. Hazard was indeed brilliant today. I loved the fight he had in him. Absolutely outstanding, even when we were 4-1 or 5-2 down. And if you're going to call Lampard a liar and a son of a bitch, do it in his thread because I would love to reply to that but this thread is about Hazard.

I'm surprised as well, I thought there were more Chelsea fans on a Chelsea board.

What is everyone so bitter for? Frank is a Chelsea legend, and rightly so. Congratulations, all of you, on calling him a cunt, a wanker, a Judas, amongst other things. I still consider him a Chelsea legend and I'll give him an ovation if he comes to the Bridge and play. I hope he won't score, but I'll definitely not boo him. This is the guy that has won us the league, the Champions league, the Europa league, ... He's been great for us! Yes, he now scores for City and yes, he's won them points. It saddens me to see him do that. He's certainly spiced up the league, that's for sure. But how the lot of you can be so disrespectful to one of our Legends, can't understand that... I'll be in Matthew Harding when we play City, and I'll be clapping if Frank comes on. But I won't if he scores, off course, I'll be sad. But calling a legend like that a cunt? Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?

Why the fuck are all of you complaining about our defense all of a sudden? Yes, the defense was horrible today, Tottenham terrorized our right side and Cahill was poor when he gave them a penalty. But complaining about our defense this season? Saying we should buy other players? Are you forgetting we only conceded 14 goals in 19 matches and had the best defense in the first half of the league. The defense just had a very poor game, end of. I'm glad the boys showed so much spirit and still went for point when the game was 4-1 or 5-2. Hazard in particular was magnificent. And we're still (joined) top of the league, with City having harder away games coming up.

Eden reaches double digits and scored his tenth of the season today, at the half way mark. He might just reach 20 if he stays injury free, especially considering he usually performs better in the second half of the season. People on here complaining he should score more, but he's on track to maybe score 20 and we can't really ask more from an AM right? Our best man today, again. Him and Fabregas were great today. Matic had a rare off-day, but I can easily forgive him. Considering alternate premier league, this was a par 1 game and we got that one point. City played a par 3 game and drew!
-
Ok, thanks for your support. i've put my money on another Chelsea win :blue scalf:
-
He also signed Matic!Other than that, I completely agree!
-
Let's hope the result is better than last years. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gpQBzuP_f4I Strange to think that only a year ago, we played a pivot of Mikel and Ramires (instead of Matic and Fabregas), we had Eto'o and Ba upfront, still had Lampard and Eden played with number 17 and Oscar with number 11. How times have changed... And changed well.

It could've been red, but I can agree with a yellow as well. I thought the ref was alright, he was worse when he stood in the way during our counter, we were three against two, with a lot of pace, and that looked very dangerous.
-
He's talking about the same game in which there was both a dive by Cahill and a tackle on Felipe (the one that got them a red card)
-
Last season's first game, the opener against Hull City, had a world class first half performance as well. I'll never forget it. We played with De Bruyne on the right and it was the only game for us he actually played well. Even got MOTM and gave an assist to Oscar. WBA first half was great, especially the first 25 minutes, but I've seen Chelsea been great before. Hard to call the best performance out of all of them.

Papito, you do know this is a forum, not a chat message board and you can make your posts longer than 1 sentence, right? No need to post three posts in a row

Exactly, my missus it's actually my own other new home shirt. She got to wear my Hazard shirt and I wore my Fabregas shirt to piss off the Gooner fans
-
Thanks a lot, it worked I guess

We just got back from the game at Stamford Bridge! What a game, what an atmosphere. Not too many chances from both sides, but we owned them. Had them in our pocket. What the hell was Wenger doing? Hazard had a great game! Oscar was tremendous. And Costa just can't stop scoring. I was in row one at Mathew Harding (I even had a cameo on MOTD2) and I had the biggest blast ever singing "We got Cesc Fabregas, he left 'cause your shit!". Great game. I'm still high on adrenaline. Can't wait till my next visit to the Bridge. All in all, I'm very ecstatic. But there's some concern too, I hope Thibault's ok. Here's me @ stamford bridge, I'm still figuring out how to put this as my profile picture. It's too big for now. Can anyone help me make the following image smaller so I can use it as an avatar?

We'll score lots as it was obvious we were saving our goals tonight for October the fifth!
-
Not exactly true. One example of an incorrect run: his header (on goal) from the Hazard cross from the right was actually meant for Oscar. You could see Oscar asking for the ball, and Hazard's delivery went straight towards him. Oscar was by himself on the edge of the box, so probably had time to control the ball and place a shot and that would've been more dangerous than Schurlle's header. His other runs were good, but so far he's lacking the end product. It is true that he doesn't hide or shy away though. I don't dislike Schurlle, not at all, but he had a terrible first 45 minutes.

What a great post by a supporter of the other team. We are opponents on the field only, exactly! I would love to be there but I can't, but if I were going I would definitely look you up and buy you a beer!

You were the guy i remember most, screaming in every topic we had to go for Falcao's loan deal, that it was a good deal for a top class striker, that Chelsea needed two top strikers? And now all of a sudden you think the loan is unreasonably high spending? Talk about a 180...
-
Haha read this on Arsenal mania: "For fuck's sake, Man united have replaced Van Persie even before we have" My god I need to study as I have an exam in 30 hours but my god this transfer deadline day is just too much!!!
-
His comebacks are great although this one could've been better. Something along the lines of "Hi, plastic head cunt, I'm Petr. Nice to meet you". That Liverpool fan named Matt has been an absolute disgrace though, constantly tweeting pictures of Cech's collision with Hunt and tagging Petr in those tweets.

True, I've seen him play lots and I'd say he's actually more Oscar-ish

I'm not too sure but I think this is how we played at the end of the Everton game? We started the game as a 4-3-3, although you could also name it a 4-2-3-1 with Fabregas playing as a 10, it looked more like a 4-3-3 to me: Courtois Ivanovic Cahill Terry Azpilicueta Ramires Matic Fabregas Willian Hazard Costa Later on in the game, in the 75th minute, Mikel comes on for Willian which I understand and is probably for more defensive stability. I think we still played a 4-3-3, with Ramires moving to the wing to have Mikel next to Matic, although it was difficult to see because the game was going from side to side and everyone was all over the pitch at times: Courtois Ivanovic Cahill Terry Azpilicueta Mikel Matic Fabregas Ramires Hazard Costa Then, in the 84th minute, Felipe Luis comes on for Hazard. I get the fact that we want to defend more and definitely not concede a fourth goal, but I thought it was a strange sub, although I can understand it because of the defending reasons. Hazard wasn't tracking back all the time (although he did sometimes). I guess we were then playing either a 4-3-3 with a left winger that wasn't really going forward or maybe a 4-4-2: Courtois Courtois Ivanovic Cahill Terry Azpilicueta Ivanovic Cahill Terry Azpilicueta Mikel Matic OR MAYBE Mikel Matic Fabregas Ramires Felipe Luis Fabregas Ramires Felipe Luis Costa Costa That 4-4-2 line-up looks a bit weird so we were probably playing the 4-3-3 one more but the 4-4-2 makes sense as soon as the 89th minute, 4 minutes later, when Drogba comes on. I think we played 4-4-2 for the last few minutes: Courtois Ivanovic Cahill Terry Azpilicueta Mikel Matic Ramires Felipe Luis Drogba Costa Am I missing something here or is that how you guys saw it as well? I was way to emotional during the game to really pay attention to everyone's position. If I'm correct, do you think we'll see more of the 4-4-2? Especially at the end to hold a lead? We'll definitely see more 4-3-3 as we all know Mourinho prefers to play that way in the bigger games with Ramires.

Well here's some info: http://fantasytransfertips.blogspot.be/2013/04/english-premier-league-yellow-card.html Couldn't directly find this info on the FA site (should be on there though) but these rules are probably correct. So technically, this means (in the extreme) Costa could get 14 yellows without being suspended. 4 yellows by December 31st, another 5 by the second Sunday in April (putting him at 9, with no supplemental discipline), and another 5 before the end of the season. 14 yellows, no ban for any game. But at the rate he's going, he's going to have a lot more than just 4 yellows by december 31st. He might not make it till October
