Yes, they do. You only have to look at the comments to see how little people rate him. I remember I used to point it out last season too, that people too often remembered his 'bad' games however the amount of games he was solid in went ignored or people would say that it is down to Terry being in the team. You only have to look at Jason's post (from another source) to see the mockery about Cahill when in reality it is a proud achievement for himself and should be for us to that he captained England. And for the record before you make a stupid comment about Traore or Chalobah, I never said people should be dicussing Cahill's 'great' performance. I said he was solid but pointed out the fact that the thread is quiet is because before the game a lot of people probably would have thought he would not have been able to handle the attacking threat of Germany but he did not look out of place at all and people were probably waiting to take the piss out of his performance like they did the other day after Everton game but he done well. The ball was inch-perfect tbh. Agreed slightly but the ball was so spot-on, I think it woudl be harsh to label him solely at fault. However that being said, him or Johnson did not cover themselves in glory there.

Had a solid game which is why this thread after the match is quiet. A lot of people revel in seeing Cahill have a bad game to take the piss and that is the sad truth. It was his great interception from Ozil that lead to the goal for Vardy.

WOW. Reading some of the comments on the past pages, you would think many people have more loytalties with Cech than our actual team and players. Can't beleive people who state making Courtois as our no.1 was a mistake. Were you saying this last season? We have a top keeper in our hands and one of the best if not the best of his generation. Let's not forget that DDG use to be considered a laughing stock when he was first in goal for United. Now look at him. I have no doubt that Courtois will prove his critics wrong with time.

He used to be a jack of all trades and master of none. Now it seems he is a player who has a lack of all trades and master of one: continuous below-par performances.

Any Chelsea fans here who don't care what the result is because they don't want Europa? Hey, I am one of them

Would of had 2 goals in this match if it was not for that fanatstic save near the end. Was a terrific header. That would have been a first surely, to have a CB score a double in 2 different games this season.

Great goal Good to see considering he was at fault for the first goal. Got paced and muscled out way too easily. Redeemed himself. What a season he is having.

4-2-3-1. Muller plays behind Lewa. Options on wing are only Costa, Ribery, Robben and Coman. Robben will be injured 3/4 of the season anyway and is getting on as is Ribery. I don't think he will have any interest in joining us.
-
Koman is not going to join us in a million years. He is arguably at one of the two top clubs in the world and receving good minutes. Ironic because even Bayern are a class above us he probably would struggle to get starts here. He definitely will be Bayern player next season.

Only stats made Oscar look better than Willian but Willian was and is still a much better player. Yes, Oscar had better stats than him but it was clear for me when watching the two, who the better player was. Willian was a lot wasteful then but it did not change the fact that he was better than Oscar and contributed more to the team.

When he moves to a bigger team, you will soon come to your senses and realise he made the right move.

He is not good enough for the first team. There is a difference between playing U21 football and first team football. He would not handle the pressing side of things right now. Also he has just returned from injury not too long ago. Good prospect but again one I think will not make it. As he gets older he will be competing with much more all rounded players and that is where he will fall behind in the pecking order imo.

Shocking performance. I see everyone is getting on to Cahill about the first goal but why is no one criticizing Azpi? He let Lukaku glide past him way too easily. The credit I give to Cahill and Ivanovic is up until then they were both solid. Azpi was our weak link all game. He was bullied far too often and as much as I like his warrior mentality, he does not have that blistering pace that we need every week to provide that attacking force. He ruined our attack a couple times thi evening. He just does not have that burst of pace like Kenedy does on the other side. I think Conte might readdress the RB position. Wonder if he might go in for Lichtsteiner. Very good at defending but also much more of a threat than Azpi going forward. I like Azpi and think he has done well and even though his stats look rather good for a FB this season, he does not have that searing pace you want from a FB. And to Costa. Just...... The only positive I take from this game is that at least it means the only way we get in Europa now is if we finish top 6 and that hopefully does not happen because let's face it, we will have a much better chance in the league next season if we have no distractions of Thursday night football. People will say that is a competiton to play the youngsters etc but let's face it that will not happen and Conte will play a strong team. Sucha disaster season. Just need this season to end. Rebuild next season and come back with a bang.

This is not a knee-jerk reaction as Lukaku has been excellent all season but I think Costa and Lukaku are on the same level. Maybe even Lukaku better. Last season, I would have said Costa for sure. Lukaku has good dribbling skills, excellent strength, great hold up play (now), great finishing, runs the channels excellently. Just look at his goal today and against West Ham last week. Lukaku is great at scoring these type of goals. Costa scored a great goal against PSG but Lukaku is more rounded for me now. Costa has been excellent in recent weeks but unfortunately just came a bit too late. I can't deny that Costa proved short term that Mourinho made the right decision but when you think about it long term, we invested in the best striker of his generation and sold him. And with Costa, there are constant rumours about him retuning to Madrid etc. Lukaku is/was a Chelsea fan and it is clear to see that he is going to be one of the best stikers in the world soon. Actually I would artgue he is up there now. He has everything. I knew it was going to happen eventually when he scored against us and showed us what we really we were missing. Today was the day. Great performance and a shame he was not given time to do that here.
-
Pure quality. Will be one of the best in the world soon. Meanwhile our Costa is being a prat and looks like he is turning into Suarez. Should reach 30 goals this season. Remarkable

I will join your team too Sir.

Why is Luiz being jeered for?

Izzy Brown definitely will not make it here as a striker. Even for our U18 and U21 he was rarely playing as CF. He is fast at youth level. At pro level his pace is average/decent at best. Abraham is a lot faster. Again, his finishing at youth level is good but at pro level he only has 1 goal to his name which he scored at the weekend. So really to make it here as a striker, he is competing with Abraham and Solanke who are younger and been playing CF more than him. Then there is Traore as well. No chance he makes it here as a CF. Decent player but as he gets older, I don't think he has outstanding characteristics that will mean he will make the grade here.

Having a very good season but there is no way, regardless of who is in charge, that he will be our starting LB next season.
-
Since joining Betis, Musonda has played 6 games. All of them Betis have been unbeaten, winning three and drawing three. They were big relegation candidates before he joined. Now they are around mid-table and look to be well clear of relegation danger. Has Musonda been a big part of that? Definitely so.
-
Who remembers when people used to say Oscar was better than Willian? He still will continue to get in the Brazil squad/team no matter what.
-
It will not be funny. It will actually be quite worrying and a shame.
-
Ermm, Willian has player this season and has been performing consistently...
