I will never forgive Mourinho for selling him. Especially considering who he put faith in instead. Fucking clown.
-
This just hurts too much to see. Such a quality player. Fuck you Mourinho seriously.
-
But he still is not getting enough starts? I personally think he has wasted his season. When you have that good of a loan spell at that age, you want to follow that up by playing at an improved team, albeit getting minutes. He barely has played and one can argue that he has only played because Costa has been suspended and the other being we do not have much to play for. Because next season for what you know, Traore may go back to 3rd choice striker or might not even be favoured.

Another gripe I have with yesterday is why bring on Falcao? He clearly is not going to be here next season, while we have talented young players like Palmer who have been excellent for the U21/U19 this season and he did not come on. Players like this are hopefully the future and the ones we should be looking to. Not expired players like Falcao.

Set up Pato perfectly in the second half, however Pato missed it. Really that should have been an assist, credited to Pedro.

Mata has been very inconsistent for United but he still produces the odd moment of magic. Just look at his goals last season against Liverpool for instance and while I agree that he has not turned out to be a star player for United, he is regularly deployed out wide for United which is not his position. Oscar reguarly plays in his favoured position and is consistently below-par. Mata played in the no.10 role for us and did 10 times more for us than Oscar ever has. Of course when you are not playing a player in their favoured position consistently, it is likely that you are not going to see regular consistent performances. I think you are reading into that a little too much Tomo. You can look into that as if they are giving respect to one of the best strikers on the planet in Lewa by claiming he can only go there if Lewa leaves. They are probably speaking from Bayern's perspective too. Bayern are not going to fork out over £50/60m for a striker unless Lewa leaves. Bayern do not work like that. They are frugal in their approach and Lukaku knows that Bayern will not be after him if Lewa stays which is prob why his father said that. Rumours have linked Lewa with Real so if that happens then Lukaku to Bayern is possible but right now it is not which is what is father was saying. Courtois father IIRC also said similar things when Courtois was on loan at Atletico. Was he not saying that Courtois can only return if he is no.1 etc. Both fathers were just looking out for the best interest of their son's. On the pitch as long as a player's attitude is fine is what bothers me tbh. Ibra is arrogant as fuck but he is a world class player so that is why I would take him. Lukaku, no matter what is said about his attitude, scores on the pitch and loves football. Regarding Traore, him wanting to stay and bide his time to battle for a place can also mean that he falls into oblivion and deteriorates due to a lack of playing time. Can you really say Traore has progressed this season by barely starting. Yeah, he has scored in his limited minutes but he has not got the game time he woudl have expected from the beginning of the season. He turns 21 in September as well.

Was not aware of that. Why did he get banned?

Funny how quiet @Gilvorak is these days
-
Looks like he has paid the price for his performance last week against Arsenal. Completely dropped from the squad and apparently he is fit and available for selection. Makes it worse when his replacement then goes and scores. Hope he bounces back strong. These are the type of mental challenges young players have to face at some point and prove they can get back into the team. He started of as a back up and forced himself in the team. Hopefully he can do so again.

Get Palmer in in place of Oscar. He has the elements that you actually want to see in a no.10.
-
Likely to be on the bench today. Has also been given a squad number. For the 100th time, can we put this in the bloody players section please! It is not rocket science. We have got inferior players to Palmer who have their own player thread. Come on!

Good to see that the club are looking to get business done early Also contrary to the opinion from @cosmicway I have mostly seen excellent reviews about him. A pacey CB is what we could do with tbh. Very young too. Hope we can secure him. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11668/10233767/who-is-chelsea-target-konstantinos-manolas

He is not even 100% and been their best offensive player. City have missed him hugely in his absence.

I am judging it by this bro:

Scored a fantastic goal yesterday against United U21s and was apparently the star of the show once again. 9 of United's starting 11 yesterday have premier league minutes to their name and he stood out and nutmeged Phil Jones brilliantly But he really has stepped up this season and he has deserved his new contract he signed last month. Been brilliant. That was his 14th goal of the season which is fantastic for someone who is not a striker and does not take penalties. Was looking at the chelsea youth twitter page and he was saying that Viveash said he expects some of those playing last night to feature in the first team this season. Hiddink also said that will be the policy. Palmer, you would think would be right up there. Been nothing short of terrific this season. I agreed at the time with 'The Skipper' comment about him above when he first wrote it but now you can see how much he has improved. Really talented. Talksport were allso giving him huge praise which is good to hear as well. Palmer, Boga, Musonda. Will be interersting to see how far they get here because they definitely have the ability. About time we move this to the players thread as well or make a new one for him because this is in the wrong place.

Payet is not going to happen. He is a fantastic player but West Ham will not sell regardless of money. They are a team with ambition. Especially as they are moving into a new stadium and the chairman has already said he wants Ibra, they are a club who are looking to bring top players in, not sell their top ones. Payet is 29 as well and while he still has quite a few years at his best, can you really see us forking up over £40m for a player who will be 30 next year? I don't think so. That is the amount we will have to pay. A Chinese team made a £38m offer for Payet in January and West Ham rejected it and Payet signed a improved contract. Very unrealistic we will pay over £40m for him. Like I said, West Ham are looking to attract top stars and will be an attractive proposition for players, epecially with them being in the new stadium.
-
Why would Dybala want to move here after 1 season at Juve? He rejected the likes of Arsenal in the summer as he said he wanted to stay in Italy. No chance he is leaving regardless if Costa stays or leaves. Few years I imagine him being at Barca but next season he will defo be at Juve.
-
He is going to be a player. 2 goals today. He is at the right team to develop properly. But few years time, will not be surprised if we try and get him back. Not surprised we inserted a buy back clause. Eden will be impressed and hopefully take note of what he could easily be doing when he puts his mind to it.

Won quite a few headers up against Gestede who is excellent in the air. Very good debut for him.
-
Jesus. You really do hate Hazard don't you. I hope he recovers next season (at us) and comes back and makes you eat your words for all the tripe you right about him.
-
Villa are so awful. Really that should have been a standard red card for Cissokho. Would of pile even more misery for them. To think Richards said this: "Long hard season"
-
Miazga looks very good on his debut. And RLC wow

It does not necessarily work like that. We are a much bigger club than Leicester and probably would be able to offer him twice the amount Leicester will offer him. And I don't think he will be stupid in a sense to think that our plight will run forever. Don't get me wrong if someone like Juve comes for him I think they would have the best chance to obtain him. They can offer him UCL, probably would get in the team and also playing for a famous club. However if you are talking between us and Leicester, loads of reasons why he would choose us. Like I said there is the money aspect. The lure of living in London. Then while we will not be in the UCL, we are a bigger team like I said and in the long run you think we will get back to where we belong. Let me give you an example. In 06/07, Bayern incredibly missed out on the UCL. Werder Bremen qualified for the UCL that season. Rather than play in the UCL with Werder Bremen which would have been the first time IIRC, he left them and joined Bayern who were in the Europa League. Why? Bayern are much bigger and would offer him better money and of course in the long run, you knew they would eventually regain their status as best team in that league. Leicester will not able to repeat those miracles next season, I am sure of.

Just seen that he scored in a friendly match against QPR today. Totally forgot about him and that he was back at us because he does not play for the U21 in the league or cup games. He really has messed up his career, wow. I don't know why we are still keeping him around. The last I read was that we ludicrously gave him a new contract which I hope is utter bullshit because he has no future here and I doubt much other good teams will want him with his attitude.
