Money. To put in perspective, Asamoah Gyan moved to some Chinese team last summer and is reportedly earning over £200k p/w. So imagine a more valuable and bigger name like Ramires will be earning considering that will be the highest amount a Chinese team has ever payed for player. Probably more. Ridiculous amounts of money being thrown at players now and that is why so many players are moving there now. People will say he was on a lot at Chelsea but he probably will triple his wages in China.
-
In other words I was saying since he has signed that contract he had a great game and yes, I do think he deserved to have a one year contract regardless, however with the conditions I stated above.
-
I assumed it was a fee for around £10m but £25m. Fuck me I do like him but for that amount of money, I will drive him to China myself. That would be a great deal for us.

http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11668/10143109/chelseas-loic-remy-wants-loan-move-but-leicester-not-interested Cannot let this happen in any regard. Will be stupid of us. I get he needs game time but we don't really have adequate replacements to Costa. When Remy is fully fit he is good cover. If Pato comes, we need him along with Costa and Remy, not instead of Remy. But tbh, I don't really sympathise with Remy regarding lack of first team action. He wanted to stay and he said he wanted to fight for his place but realistically he knew he was always going to be back up to Costa. I like Remy a lot but my personal opinion is the reason he did not want to move to a club in the summer is because he is on around £85k p/w and if he left to Palace in summer or another club he would have had to take a huge wage cut and he has been known to go to teams where they offer him huge money and that is why he is not interested in leaving us permanently for now because even for a back up, his wages are huge If we are not contemplating selling him this window, then loaning him out should not even be an option. As the season goes, we may need him a lot more than people think and while Costa has generally been fine on the injury front this season, you do get the suspicion he may be suspectible to injuries. Especially in recent weeks, he has been coming off because of minor knocks.
-
TBH, if you exclude West Brom, Costa has refrained from getting into petty fights and arguments and that must be something down to the manager. I mean he has the occasional moan when things don't go right for him but that is not a problem. However the fighting with other players has seemed to stop even though they all seem to try and get under his skin. Palace tried roughing him up but he remained composed and today was similar. He got stick by the home fans and they gave him a couple rough challenges to provoke a reaction but he let the football do the talking.

Costa and Fabregas have taken most of the plaudits but Willian was equally fantastic. What a performance. How many times did he track back and do his job while cause havoc going forward. They could not handle him and he was giving them tremors every time he ran with the ball. His balance is excellent as well. When do you ever see him get muscled off the ball and let's not forget it was him that laid that excellent pass for Costa when Mertasacker tripped him. Not only that but he started the attack for our goal as well IIRC. Great defensive and offensive performance. I was watching the match with other gooners who were shitting themselve every time he had the ball.

Good point. Liverpool comes at a good time for them though. Leicester have over a week off while during that time Liverpool have 2 cup games and also when you take into consideration the injuries they already have, Leicester could not be playing them at a better time.
-
I am still hoping for City to win it, purely because I still continue to doubt Leicester will last. City is more of a realistic winner so therefore I gun for them. One thing though is we play Leicester last. I hope it is not a situation where if we win we hand Arsenal the title. That will be dreadful so I really hope that the title race does not go down to the end. Especially if it involves Leicester.
-
Got to give him credit though. When Mikel stupidly blocked off Sanchez with his arm, the whole Arsenal fans and players were off their feet trying to get him to give Mikel a red but he did not bottle it under pressure and I love that. A lot of weaker refs would have levelled it up and made it 10 against 10.
-
Fair enough. Only thing that frustrated me about him too. Can you imagine if that was Ronaldo or Sanchez against 10 men on the counter and on a poor goal drought. They would have had so much desire to score. I wanted to see that from Hazard but still seems way too passive and not willing to just fire it in the back of the net.
-
Like Mourinho. Like Hiddink. They don't lose to Arsenal. Two games against Arsenal. 1-4 and 0-1. Taking off where Jose left.
-
Load of rubbish. Even the Arsenal legend Henry himself said it was a red and Carragher had to put him in his place and state it was a stonewall red.
-
He always performs against Arsenal. Him and Hazard were the best players in our 2-0 victory over them this and last season. 0-0 game at Emirates last season he controlled the game as well and this game at Emirates he was on another level.
-
I am not joking. If you gave me the choice of letting him go on a free or giving him a one year I would say give him the contract, however he must be a bit-part player next season and not a first team starter. He has given enough to deserve 1 year. But making him regular starter next season is another thing.
-
Has taken so much slack off supporters this season and a lot of it rightly deserved but I still feel some off the comments attributed to him after him getting a one year contract was OTT. He proved that he was worth a one year with that excellent cross today. Credit where credit is due. He created the moment of magic in that game.
-
Harsh mate. Hazard came on and created 2 great opportunites for Remy and Willian. Let's not forget his defensive work and strength to muscle Ozil off the ball for the counter we had.
-
Yep. Must say. Everyone panicked and you always remained consistent with your point. They have such a massive inferiority complex against us. Giroud will score against every other team but hit blanks against us. Ozil too turned into Ghostil against us once again.
-
Feels so good to know we put a dent in their title chances. 9 league games unbeaten for us against them! Terrific record and we done the double over them!!!! Fabregas was my MOTM. Completely ran the show. We may not get top 4 but it pleases me to know that we may have played a pivotal part in blowing Arsenal's title chances. And who of all people scored? Diego Costa. I will take that
-
Oscar needs to be given a brief talking to by Hiddink. He is on a yellow and the gooners will do anything to lure him into a second yellow. How often do you see it? Keep your head boys, bring on Hazard and finish them off
-
WOW. Excellent from the first minute. Whole team have been class. Even before the red. Fabregas has been running the show. Willian been tremendous as well and Ivanovic. I just hope we don't fuck this game up now. I am hoping we can keep the score the same if not get another one and introduce Hazard for the counter to finish them off. Get his first goal which he should of had in the reverse fixture to finish off the Gooners. Could not have the wrote the script any differently. I told you lot Ivanovic always performs against Arsenal. Great cross for Costa
-
Ozil was not playing in that game. I think you are getting mixed up with the 2-0 game last season where he looked out of his depth and was slated by fans.
-
Not really. He is working on behalf of Chelsea and should treat our players with respect. I use to work at Arsenal. If I was working there now I would never make a slur out at Cech. For the record I don't think for one moment he is a snake but even if I did, I would treat him and the club with respect because that is who you are working for and I would not let my club preferences get in the way of my job. Was really stupid thing to do. Especially as you have been trusted under a position with Chelsea FC, you should behave accordingly.
-
Real binned Ozil too though... Ancelloti never wanted him so you can basically say the same thing.
-
Right now he is. On form Sanchez I say. Ozil has only really stepped up this season while Sanchez made an impact in his first season. Both are 2 quality players though.
-
The only objection I would say to that is Palace spent a lot of money on Wickham so Pardew would almost feel obliged to play him. Whereas Gladbach had injuries and not a lot of depth at CB, it was not a problem for the manager to give him a go. Watford, Ake replaced Holebas who was bought for peanuts so yet again it was not really a costly decision for the manager to bring in Ake however like I pointed out at the time as soon as I saw Wickham was brought in for that amount of money I knew it was going to be difficult for Bamford to get a fair chance because they invested a lot of money in Wickham. However, that is not to discredit Christensen or Ake who have done tremendously well to win their places in the starting 11 in 2 brilliant leagues.
