You are living in WW2. You are really slow sometimes. Take a look at the talent coming through the system.

Add Boga to that list

Yeah, Torres got over 20 goals this season because of the amount of games he played. Had Ba been eligible to play EL for us, do't you reckon he wold of had more of a goal tally. Plus most of Torres goals came against far inferior team apart from Arsenal and Benfica.

LOL, one thing Ake is good at is his play with the ball, i don't think you have watched him play if you are saying he is not good enough on the ball.
-
RLC will be a Chelsea player next season. We will want him to develop at the club first before even thinking of loaning him and if he was to go on loan would no way be a Premiership club. Still has a lot to learn. Same with Feruz.
-
More Iniesta. Because Xavi does not dribble as much where Thiago is almost a replica of Iniesta. Just not as good as him yet.
-
Not that bad of a rumour. I have always felt we need stronger back up for the GK. He has been good at Real when playing in goal but truths are most of his starts were because of the conflict between Casillas and Mourinho. When Real's new manager arrives Lopz is obviously going to drop back to the bench and with Courtois potentially going out on loan again, maybe can see why Mourinho wants him here.

Tbh he has scored some excellent goals. I am not going to judge him from one season but his goal against was sheer individual brilliance. His goal against WBA is up there with the best of them this season in their win at Hawthorns and he scored 2 very good goals in the win at Anfield. I think it is harsh for people to call him overrated after how much he has stood out in a poor team tbh. It would be fair for people to say they are unsure about him because he has only had 1 season in the prem but he has had an excellent season and deserves plaudits his way. But to summarise he is a very good promising striker but we don't need him right now.

http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/8731903/Transfer-news-Chelsea-striker-Romelu-Lukaku-fancies-Borussia-Dortmund-move If Lewa leaves them in the summer, i am for this move 100% if our board decides they want to loan him again.

Oscar was very exciting to watch when he came on, however like Cundy said, making his first start against the likes of Toure, RLC was excellent IMO. Very good game and should be proud of his performance. Definitely my MOTM. Mata had glimpses of quality as well. Would be nice though if we could just beat City for once ffs!
-
And if we loan him out again our board/staff are the drunk ones.
-
Carra retired now, so he doesnt have to fear Lukaku anymore
-
I hope they get rid of the shitty Chelsea commentary and replace it with the actual match coverage commentary such as ITV/Sky Sports.
-
Because they are the biggest club in Germany and playing for them is like a boyhood dream/privilege and even though Dortmund have won the league 2 times in the last 3 seasons and are in the UCL final, they cannot compete with Bayern on a financial level. They are one of the most successful teams in the world and because of their new appointment as Guardiola as manager, the project over there is exciting. Plus they have already agreed to buy Gotze but the look to a force if they sign him as well.

LOL, 17 PL goals at the age of 19/20 in 32 appearances IIRC, which several was from the bench and we are overrating him, yeah compare Lukaku's goalscoring record with Drogba, Ba and many greats at his age and compare. Of course people have every right to be excited by his potential. Like I said a few pages back I reckon Lukaku is better than Ba. IMO, Ba is a good player, scored a lot of goals for Newcastle but apart from strength, balance and he is a good finisher, his style is fairly limited at us. Lukaku has pace, strength, aerial ability, composure and right now is putting our strikers to shame. Simple.
-
I think he is ready to play here 100%. Just look at his record, no fluke there. Thing I like about him is he is a true Chelsea fan as well. The only club he ever wanted to join was us. Loyalty there. Weird how people just wrote hi off last season and now he has come back with a bang. If he is doing the stuff at WBA aged 19/20 with far more inferior players just imagine how good he will be here next season a year older and being fed in the from the likes of Mata and Hazard.... lips sealed.... WBA second goal today. The amount of times he has received them through balls and finished with aplomb, is the same that Mata supplies does for our strikers but that one needs to be Lukaku on the end of that next season.
-
Enjoyed watching his hatrick on MOTD. My opinion is that he is better than Ba and Torres. He should not be behind any of them. Basically, Lukaku has everything Torres and Ba have but they don't have everything he possesses. Will be a hit next season, can't wait.

HATRICK! Take a bow son!

It is easy to say he can join a PL club but say Zulte qualifies, who can say he will not want the chance to play in the UCL. I think he would jump at that chance, regardless of the stature of the league.
-
That is because he has handed in a transfer request for the second time and the fans don't want players who feel they are bigger than the club. Besides that, they know that he is a brilliant footballer.
-
Must be doing excellently to have been called up to the Belgium squad, massive achievement. Plays in just over an hours time against Anderlecht for the title decider. If Zulte win, they gain automatic route to the group stages of the UCL next season. This is a clip of his brilliant performance last week: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=uV6TJ3tv1bs

TBH, I think Vertonghen has had a fantastic season. He made couple of errors earlier in the season but apart from his attacking instincts, some of his defensive abilities have been fantastic. I remember watching the game against City and Vertonghen did not give their strikers a sniff. Also in the 2-1 win to Arsenal earlier in the season he was my MOTM for sure. Was a dominating presence. Take into fact that he has been asked to do jobs from his normal position, he has done very well and also he was voted POTM in April IIRC.

Thing is Baines is not bad defensively. He is just very attacking but most matches he does well defensively and attacking wise. At us, we need more from our fullbacks going forward if we want to push on. For instance against Benfica how many times did Cole get forward compared to their LB. Hardly, and that is not because of what we tell him to do, he just does not have the pace and attacking play that he once had. Annoying because with Baines in our team we would improve much more but with Cole signing a contract that is not going to happen. People say Cole is still brilliant defensively but he has been very error prone this season and been bullied off the ball. I mentioned which players have skinned him in another thread somewhere so I will not go over that again. But I look at other big clubs and their LB and I feel Cole should be doing more. I only think it is his rep keeping that notion that he is the best LB in the world. With Shaw, I would love to have him here eventually but next season he will certainly be at Southampton without a doubt. Hopefully in a few years time he will be ready to be the no.1 left back here.
-
Has got everything. Can't believe he is only 20. Got years ahead of him and I think he has got everything to turn into one of the best box to box midfielders in the world. Excellent season.

Let people express their opinion how they want pal. Just look on the pages of Mourinho day in, day out, no one complains. I think people have a right to "moan" about him being potentially sold especially when we have not seen him play a competitive fixture yet here.
