  1. I hope you did not just write that for more rep points. Actions speak louder than words. I assume you will stick to your word though.
  2. Let's steal Arsenal's song for him. After me: "We got Cesc Fabregas, We got Cesc Fabregas" (REPEAT)
  3. Well Martinez said a similar thing himself: "As a number nine he is as complete as you are going to get in world football. Something which is a rare breed - to have such a talented footballer having that target man role". http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11671/9189398/premier-league-everton-boss-roberto-martinez-praises-romelu-lukaku
  4. Just because Kalas has gone out on loan, I don't think it necessarily means we will promote Zouma or Omeruo as 4th choice CB. With all the money we have available I can see Mourinho spending big on a CB. Many might disagree or think it is unnecessary but there is no way I can see Mourinho going with Terry, Cahill, Ivanovic and perhaps Zouma as our 4 CB. Ivanovic is a very reliable CB as he has proven but he is not a world class CB. Terry is getting on and while is still a quality defender he may need to sit out the every so often game. If Terry is injured or in need of a rest I think Mourinho would rather a proven CB there. I know Mourinho approved of the Zouma signing and I have high hopes of him myself but I am not sure if Jose thinks he is ready to step in the firing line as of yet. When the deal was announced that we were signing him he spent a lot of his games on the bench at a team much more inferior to us. Playing for a team challenging for multiple honours is tough. Then you have Ivanovic who always seems to impress at CB but is mainly used as a RB and I think Jose wants a proven CB who is capable of making sure that Terry and Cahill are not guaranteed starters. I can easily see Jose making a move for Benatia or Mangala. That is why I think if anything the loan of Kalas indicates that Mourinho is going to be signing another top class CB. Mourinho likes competition and next season he is going in with the mentality to win. He will make that known as well and that is why I think he wants quality. Just can't see Mourinho having Terry, Cahill, Ivanovic and Zouma/Omeruo as our CB for next season at all. Terry is 33 and tbh while it will air questions as to the trusting of our young CB etc, buying another CB like Benatia or Mangala would help a lot next season. City won the league but you can see how much of a loss he was when he was out injured despite them having many other CB and I am sure Mourinho has assessed these sort of situations for next season and in case an injury happens to Cahill or Terry we have quality replacements available.
  5. http://www1.skysports.com/transfer/news/12691/9344468/transfer-news-championship-clubs-eye-chelsea-starlet-islam-feruz-on-loan Hopefully we have the same plans with the likes of Baker and Swift as well.
  6. What a sad poster or infact I will call you obsessed. Your only posts in this forum are ones that slate Mikel. If he stole your girlfriend I can understand the pain but wow the way your posts only ever seem to come in this thread is bizarre. You rarely get involved in any other discussion on the forum as you are so intent on derailing this thread by bashing Mikel
  7. Mate at his age, yeah it is good learning from the likes of Terry etc but the most important thing is games. Playing regular top flight football is is the key to a players development. Training, playing and learning helps but the most important aspect as young players will tell you is playing. Don't take this offensively or anything as it is intended with humour but there are countless posts of yours that have spelling mistakes so that is quite hypocritical in fact very
  8. Jesus Christ! Are some people having a fucking laugh. Lukaku scored goals in pre-season and yes I was watching the match against Real. He was poor but some people concluded from that Torres suits the system better than Lukaku. What a load of BS! But to say he was not impressive in friendlies is just ludicrous. Most fans expected him to be starting in the opening game against Hull. Jason Cundy and many other Chelsea pundits thought he earned his place and while I agree with TOPTB point that he could have worked hard to earn his place and that he should not be handed starts just when he expects it, it is not as if Torres or Ba earned that right as well. Just for the record for the clip showed of Lukaku's goal against Roma, yeah Hazard and Ba were the key but Lukaku scored the winner. End of. That point is irrelevant and whoever concluded that Torres is a better fit than Lukaku in Mourinho's system or whatever bloody system we use needs to see a therapist because that is just rubbish. Can't believe some of the comments I am reading on here tbh.
  9. Fully agree with everything here apart from the Cole mention. Azpi won his place on merit. After we lost 2-0 to Newcastle Cole lost his place and Azpi earned it and put in very good performances and tbh Lukaku probably would have done the same as he is better than all the strikers we had on board IMO. But yeah the talk about him being overrated is ridiculous IMO. He has flaws like any 21 year old would but he has qualities that many kids his age don't even possess. While he has flaws it seems he us underrated. People seem to write him of leading the line but until he us given a chance to show that we will never know. Many people seem to slate his flaws like his touch whilst ignoring his strengths while forgetting he is a kid and while he could keep quiet sometimes he can turn out to be one of the best strikers in the world and he may come across as arrogant but if us because he knows his current qualities and the level he can and probably will reach. But yes I can see Lukaku's stance. Costa is reasonably young and maybe Lukaku thinks it will be difficult to overtake a striker we are spending over £30m on. But I hope he is kept around because no doubts him and Costa on board will provide a flurry of goals.
  10. So have you seen the actual interview now? Maybe you judged the situation too quickly. Now it looks like me and Zolayes was proven right. People trying to just cause unnecessary rifts. That is why I say wait until the real context of what he said comes out because I would never believed he would have said that.
  11. His end product is poor but not that surprising to me that he said that because Moses is very tough to face when he is running at you direct. There is no doubt that he is a handful. He is one of a few wingers I can name that has managed to completely rip Sagna to shreds when he was playing for Wigan. He is not good enough for us but one on one is very capable of being a nightmare for fullbacks with his pace and power.
  12. Some real prats in here. Slating him already without official proof. Yeah, 3 newspapers might have reported that but have any of us seen the interview themselves? Doubt it. Let's just wait before we take things out of context. I am sure he did not mean it in that way and that is if those quotes are even true.
  13. Are you taking the piss or what? I think you are on a thin line already and that comment is racist and not funny. Fix your act up you prat. Other people can take your comments seriously. Absolutely no need for that, especially when you have Jamaicans on this forum. Fool!
  14. WTF? Unless you are controlling Korea's account, how the hell did you assume I was responding to you??? This was a response to Korea's post, not yours. I remember not too long ago liking your post when you were going to your first Chelsea game and I think it was and that was the last form of notification there has been between us 2. When have I had a problem with what you have said? I may disagree with some of your posts internally but can you please remind me of when I have been "aggrieved" with what you have said because I certainly don't remember nor have I have ever "slated" your posts. Lmao, what a wake up call I have been awoken to. Being lashed out for something I have not even said. Have you realised I never quoted you yet and have never from what I recall ever slated your posts? LMFAO
  15. Maybe because he has has an excellent season? Most importantly has proved he can do a job at either LB or RB. Azpi is a quality fullback and deservedly travelled with Spain.
  16. Do you just post unnecessary stuff for the sake of it? That was not the point. The point is that he is getting into a team full of world class talent despite playing shit. Just wonder do you troll sometimes as you always seem to discredit our team or players.
  17. There is always a debate on whether he is going to score goals against teams that park the bus. Some people like me think he will do it whilst others think he will struggle. Simple solution: Give him a chance. Also no way am I reading into the assumption that it was all Lukaku who pressed for the move. Like I said if Jose really saw him as a key player for his team he would of insisted he stayed but I reckon it was kind of mutual and Jose could not guarantee him starts. Think about it. We had 4 games before Eto'o even joined. Hull: played remaining 15 minutes (I expected him to start because he was our most prolific striker in pre-season and was our most inform striker in domestic level. Even though it was at a lower club against teams who 'don't park the bus' he still done more than the strikers we had on offer but who starts? Torres....) Villa: Sub again. Comes on around the 60th minute mark. United: Does not even come on and we have a winger playing upfront... Bayern: Ok. We have now had 3 games where none of our strikers have looked convincing but once again finds himself on the bench and guess what. We sign Eto'o as well. I don't call that being given a proper chance and with Eto'o being brought in and him not starting a game, he had all rights to be concerned. He said right from the beginning of the season he wanted to fight for his place but when you go 4 games without starting when you know you are miles better than Torres and Ba, who can blame him for wanting to leave when Eto'o arrived. If Mourinho saw him as a vital part of his plans he would have reassured Lukaku for sure. That did not happen and he has scored goals once again like most of us knew he would. He could have stayed around but in no way was he weak minded. He just needed to show Mourinho what he is capable of. Now like I was saying I hope he is around next season so he can show he scores goals against teams that park the bloody bus
  18. This goal was my goal of the season tbh. Surprised this did not get a nomination. Was simply fantastic:
  19. Reminds me of Lampard in his prime. Every time I see him play you just have a feeling he will come up with a goal. Looking forward to see what next season holds for him.
  20. He won't be but he will be at a team fighting for all major trophies and he still will get his games. Who knows, if he is lucky might even partner Costa up front. But on our perspective we need reliable strikers and if that means keeping him here then so be it. City have clinical strikers as do Liverpool. We need them now as well.
  21. 11 of his 15 PL goals have come in the second half this season. Says a lot. Perfect back up/impact striker needed for us and on top of that he hopefully will get some starts to. Costa and Lukaku next season. Yes please!
  22. You are thinking way too much about the idea of youths featuring this match. Kiwomya, Feruz, Hutchinson and most of the other youths are not going to be involved. Kiwomya is one for the future but you won't see him near the first team for a while yet. Same with the other two. It is a game Mourinho will want to go out on a high so he will field out a very strong team. You might see brief appearances for Baker and Swift possibly but in the actual 11 I would only expect Kalas to start from the current 'youngsters'.
