  1. If he does start, Ivanovic will most likely be CB and Christensen will be RB imo.
  2. He came on in the 93rd minute against Shrewsbury. Still an appearance
  3. So happy about this. For a long while he has been my favourite youth player. He plays like Hazard and I view him in the same way as in everytime I watch Boga I get a thrill and anticipation that he is going to pull of something exciting. He is under the radar in the football world but he has the talent to become a quality player. Hopefully it is at us. If it was not for his injuries I reckon he would have progressed even further. In the summer when he took part in the first team friendlies, he was arguably our best player so glad to see he has finally been rewarded after all his years excelling through the youth teams.

  5. Walcott is prolific though when he gets a run of games. Chamberlain has much more injury problems than Walcott as well. Walcott would be more realistic because he has a year left while Arsenal will not entertain selling Chamberlain at all.
  6. He was at my university not too long ago watching his brother play a football match. Nice lad. Had a laugh about the Fabregas incident on Monday where he tried his best to laugh but could not help it.
  7. I am trying to work out whether this is some sort of sick joke, sarcasm or are you actually serious?
  8. Probably because Arsenal have something to play for as they are not guaranteed top three yet.
  9. Anyone who seems to think RLC had a bad game needs to slap themselves hard. He was impressive and it was made tougher for him when we were reduced to 10 men but still held his own. Even the commentators where very impressed with him yesterday and continuously praised him. You can see he is the Mourinho type of player. Physically imposing, can play and we will see that more with time when he gets used to first team football and is all round game is good. I don't see how people can criticize him. I can't wait to see more of him next season. Has the perfect traits to develop here and actually be one of the next academy graduates to become a regular in the first team.
  10. " DIDIER DROGBA, I'M GONNA SAY IT NOW, IT IS WRITTEN IN THE STARS. HE'S DONE IT!!!!!!"- Gary Neville Will never forget that night. Greatest moment ever as a Chelsea fan. The drama of that night was fantastic. Can't believe how we pulled that off :blue scalf:
  11. That is what I am confused about. Even if it is a three he can argue that he was trying to get it over to where the play was situated. Hope it is just one game because it is not violent conduct.
  12. He does not want to go. That is the whole point he signed a new contract. He is more than happy here.
  13. Wants the record of appearing in every single PL game.
  14. Maybe if Willian played in the no.10 role for majority of season his stats would be better. Anyway, Willian's stats may not be as good as Oscar's but it is clear for me who has put in better performances. I don't know how true it was about Iniesta but heard his assist against Cordoba a fornight ago was his first in a year or something. Does that make him a bad player? Of course not because we know the quality he has. Willian is the same. He does not get the goals and assists but he brings so much to the game. Willian has been fantastic in 2015. I remember Villa in particular when we beat them 2-1 this season. Absolutely ran their team ragged. Oscar just has not been at it this season. I think that is because like Lionsden pointed out, he is a jack of all trades, master of none. As to the 'haters' comment. Grow up, seriously. We all want the best for our club and because some criticize him that makes them (us) haters? Pathetic. The criticism is fair and nothing to do with 'hating'. We all want him to grow into the player we saw against Juve but as of now he just fails to inspire me. He lacks consistency big time.
  15. It will be Oscar's place Not Willian's. Willian may have more of a rotation role but he is not going to be shifted out the team as simply as that.
  16. It amazing to think how people think we will upgrade over Willian in the summer. He is a key player for our team with what he does and has earned his place in the team for a while now. Oscar, on the other hand has not. I have no doubt that come next season, Willian will be a regular in the team.
  17. Disagree. I think he is good enough. I think he thrives with better players around him. Last season if I said to you would Sterling be good enough for our starting 11 you most certainly would have said yes. Because he was quality. What is clear however is that he is not a world beater yet and needs better players around him to be effective. He is good enough to be in our team imo.
  18. It won't be possible to have Costa, Remy and Benteke. Remy would leave in that instance. We will end up getting a good striker who may not be top class but can do a job. Similar to Drogba but younger. That is what we will be looking for. Benteke would not come here to play 2nd/3rd fiddle anyway unless it was for money and I don't think it is an option the club will be pursuing. Spending over £20m on a striker to be a back up does not make sense. If we had the first few years of the Roman era when we could splash cash for fun then yeah but things have changed now. We will see anyway. I just don't think ti is realistic to think we can Costa, Remy and Benteke. Even in fantasy football that is pushing it.
  19. Believe me. Liverpool will not be selling Sterling for £25m. Especially to United. His contract runs out in 2017. That would be a bargain for the buyer considering his talent already and his potential. I would take him for £25m in a heartbeat.
  20. From a FFP POV it would not make sense as well. Mourinho already said that the strategy to stick with FFP rules will most likely be sell to spend. We probably can buy a big name without selling, who knows however it would not make sense to spend over £20m on a striker when they won't be our no.1 and we can't base assumptions on that our strikers may be injured.
  21. Did not score yesterday but I thought his all round game play was fantastic. Especially considering this was his first game for a few weeks, I was impressed. Had great hold up play, caused problems with his pace, movement and strength and done some great link up play. He has proven that he is more than capable of doing a job for us when he plays. I just don't understand when people come up with buying established strikers for ridiculous fees when we already have 2 quality strikers in Costa and Remy.
  22. Gave our defence the run around yesterday. I agree with Sheva that he has been wasteful a lot this season but it has proven such as last season that when he is surrounded by better players he will look even better and I think add more goals. Last season he was fantastic. Especially in that no.10 role. He definitely could work on his shooting but would his overall play improve our team. I think it will. I definitely see City putting in a bid for him. I am not too sure about us this summer. But if he can improve on his finsihing, he will be an excellent player. His dribbling, pace and balance is fantastic.
