I think he has gotten more than enough chances in Chelsea, under 5 managers, many different players supporting him in attack and different systems implemented. Still no end result that is satisfactory for the stature of our club. This really should be his last season with us, but his massive wage will always be a problem. Unless he wants to take a pay cut, then we might be stuck with him for another 27 months if I am correct. I think if a fresh start for both parties will be the best solution, but that depends on other club's willingness to pay his wages or his willingness to take a paycut in order to move on and get on a new environment.

We still have a chance to win it, but even if we don't it's still alright. Compared to last year, our position in the league has been a major improvement. The premier league is really intense this season. Meanwhile in the bundesliga, Bayern is on 71 points while 2nd place Dortmund is on 48. They can easily concentrate their players and focus on the Champions League.

To be fair, our opponents in Europe last season were not that good of a team. I don't mean to disrespect but Sparta Prague, Steaua, Rubin and Basel are different than playing premier league teams. There are hardly any straight forward EPL games. Moses can barely get into liverpool's first team and they dont have that good of squad depth. Willian is a hardworker, and provides link up play and good defensive track backs, schurrle might be less talented with the ball but he seems to have an eye for a goal so I expect him to be used differently than our other AMs. Also lets not forget its their first season here in the most competitive and physical league in the world, we shouldn't be so quick to judge. Especially after a terrible game and a spell of bad form for many of our players, including oscar, willian, ramires, and hazard to an extent. To be honest, I was not too convinced with Schurrle either seeing the price tag but I think we as fans need to be patient with new players, they are also normal people who needs time to settle living in a new country, they are not just football playing robots. The criticism on Salah is ridiculous, he has played what? 60 mins of competitive football for us? how can anyone judge him so quickly? I admit I would've preferred we sign someone like griezmann, but as many people said, Salah was bought to provide back up only.

That's what champions are made of, just ask Man utd and Sir Alex last year. They were pretty much terrible each game and still managed to fork out 1-0 wins consistently. No point on winning 4-0 1 week and then losing 1-0 the next.

Off the top of my head Ovrebo - Barca is the worst game in terms of refereeing. But I'm sure there are other games that are similar to this game. If we try and see this objectively, we also had many calls that were beneficial for us. Although it's never nice to see, it happens once in awhile. But yeah it does seem that Chris Foy is an absolutely terrible referee.

You know what I can't stand more than this game? people and commentators who still calls Willian freaking WILLIAM. Really what happened to Oscar, he showed such great promise during the early part of the season and just slowly diminishing. What could be his problem? Too tired? he has played so much football in the last few seasons without a proper break.

Chris Foy, great refereeing as per usual. On a more serious note, that second yellow for Willian is amazingly soft. I would be shocked if the FA don't do anything about it. Ramires though, deserved it. Terrible challenge, what was he even thinking. I am still not sure about the disallowed goal. But surely even if its the right decision, the willian red was not and it changed the game completely. Matic man of the match for me

I think Oscar is one of those players that we just can't let go, like Hazard. I believe that he will become one of the best in the near future.

I can definitely see oscar needing some rest after the WC, he looks tired as he is now. Great decision by Chelsea, just some local friendlies if possible to shake off the rustiness for those who won't be going to the WC.
