I think we deserved to win. It's a defeat that's hard to swallow, but alot of positives to take from this defeat. We showed even with our young team that we can hang with the best and we will only get better. And besides let's not forget that we won the one that actually mattered 15 months ago. This is just a mere consolation for them and baldyola.

No doubting that he is a good player, but sometimes as fans we need take a step back and think how the player will affect the club. In Luis Suarez's case, it wont be positive. His attitude will definitely outweigh his contribution to the team. He is all that is wrong with football players rolled into 1 person, dives, cheats, racist, bites people... twice! There are all sorts of red flags around Suarez and that alone should be a good enough reason for us to stay away from this guy.

The last video posted by the skipper tells it all really, he plays really dirty and aims for players legs, etc. He is a quality player, but disruptive, has no conscience, a cheater and plain scumlike. Rooney hasnt been an angel but Rooney wouldnt get banned as much as suarez would for compulsive behaviour.

Japan was a big jerk and terrible in the past, but its the past. I find it ridiculous when i meet people who hate japanese people because of what happened during a war they themselves had no part of. Its in our history books as well how they just went through korea to get to China, even in the present there are still heated conflicts(google: dokdo). But if we use this mindset then might as well hate all the germans too? I might as well not like the Chinese for helping the north koreans. And the Japanese football market is huge, kagawa alone wouldve sold tons of shirts not to mention the marketing in Japan, Asia is probably the biggest market with the biggest potential. Zlatan would be a good choice. I dont think he is as terrible as the media made him to be, he is just really confident. He is old enough where it wont disrupt Lukaku's growth. Lukaku can learn and share time with him for 2-3 seasons. And by the end of Zlatan's Chelsea career, I would hope that Lukaku are able to establish himself as our first choice striker.

Im sure, at least most are decent enough to not do it on public and totally disregard the club. I think behind the scenes its abit normal for players to promote their club to other players, be it torres with mata, oscar to neymar, whatever.

Some footballers are amazing professionals like Ivanovic and Luiz for example, some are total shiteheads like ferdinand. Its amazing how players react so well after a loss and are still able to congratulate the winners while supporters are pissed for hours in their living room.

I think the main difference is that barcelona players say more inappropriate things like "I told X to join us, Ive asked X to join us, hes destined to be in barcelona, etc" im para phrasing of course. Saying those kind of things is different to saying, that Rooney is a quality player, or if he signed he would be welcomed as reporters would ask players their feelings of player X and players got no other choice but saying they would welcome the signing.
