I'd love to have Walcott here. With players like Hazard, Mata etc. here to help him, I'm sure he'd reach that obvious potential of his. Also:- WE HAVE NO ONE WITH GREAT PACE IN THE SQUAD AT THE MOMENT ASIDE FROM RAMIRES (unless I'm missing someone obvious). Aside from the "lack of creativity" and "old squad" comments we would always get, "no pace" was the other. Walcott is also unselfish which is so important from a wing position. He's English too, and I do really feel strongly about us getting more English players. Yes, it's all great and fine having a diverse club when it comes to nationalities, but we are an English club, and we should have more English players.

Lol, his smile here makes me smile! (no homo. do people say "no homo" anymore?)

Is that Kalas I see in that top picture? It looks more like Kalas, but I assume it's Marin. Absolutely love Kalas anyway. Hope he makes it here.

On average, Danny Murphy, Baines, James Morrison, Pedersen, Gower + Etherington all created more chances per game last season than Cabaye.

Considering his terrible time here as a player, I'm not sure why he'd want to come back, but I'd personally love for him to. Aside from when he played for us, he was one of the best strikers I've seen play. Simple. Would be amazing to add him to our club again.

This may just sound ignorant, which I understand, but looking at some of the "Can't wait for pre-season! " tweets from some of our young players, I've had a thought:- We'll likely take Chalobah, Piazon and Blackman from our youth ranks on the pre-season tour. Chalobah because he's rated highly, Piazon because he had a good debut season, and Blackman because we need to take another GK. The likes of Lalkovic, Feruz (although young), T.Kane etc. are simply lazy by the standards set by footballers in the 90's and before. (Actually, you can probably apply the rest of this to almost all young footballers these days.) Of course it's harder than it sounds to talk to the manager of a team even when you're in the youth/reserve ranks, but these guys really need to make more of an effort. Go to the manager's office every day. Constantly ask to go on the tour and be given a chance. Give the manager phone-calls, texts, letters etc. Have someone from within the club put in good words for you. You can't get everywhere on talent alone. I feel our young players are taking it for granted that they're at such a great club, and seem to just expect to get called upon when the time is right. They should be begging for a shot; not just tweeting the occasional subliminal shot at the staff like I've seen many of our youngsters do. It's already easily predictable that there will be tweets etc. sent out when some of our guys aren't selected for pre-season. I guess this was more of a rant than anything else. I'm not even sure if it'll make sense. Cba reading over it. Meh.

Manchester City have changed their club colour pretty much O_o I'm pretty sure this is more teal than blue, and the badge has changed as well:

RE: Maicon + Bale: Bosingwa kept Messi quiet for a full game. Does that mean he's a brilliant defender?
-
I hope he goes to Juventus, but I'm positive he'll go to Manchester City. I expect Manchester City to sell Dzeko to Juventus or a Bundesliga club, and maybe sell Tevez to wherever. That would leave 'em with Balotelli, Aguero and Van Persie, unless I'm missing someone completely obvious. P.S. - Remember Giroud saying he prefers Arsenal over us because of stability? Since when is losing 2 captains in 2 seasons considered stability?
-
I'd hate to have him. He's supported Arsenal since a boy. This was the season for him (every top striker gets that one special season). As said on Sky Sports, it was a huge surprise that he even got 15 games this season. Very injury prone. This would take the limelight off of Torres. (I don't like Torres, but there's no point in just bringing in yet another striker while we have him.) His runs would be awful in our team, and I honestly don't think he'd do well in a 4-2-3-1. Maybe if we played our 4-2-3-1 like Man City do, then he'd be alright. There.

Here's a good read on Pogba for anyone interested in what he will potentially add to Juventus or any club he may be loaned out to: http://360scouting.blogspot.com.au/2012/07/paul-pogba.html

I've not seen much of him, but isn't he just a younger version of Meireles pretty much?
-
Hope we win vs. Milan + PSG. I hate losing during Pre-Season. Doesn't set a good tone for the coming season.

I love those 2 above posts ^^^

I had meningitis when I was 7. If he goes even 1 day without seeing a doctor and has a high level of bacterial or viral meningitis, he's completely screwed. If you don't get it sorted ASAP, you either die, get a limb amputated, or have serious after effects. (I only have minor after effects somehow. Lucky me.)

WHERE DID YOU FIND HER!!??
-
i think we should sine Dani Alves because Abramovich wants us too be the Blue Barcelona and Alves wants a knew challenge and hes good fore English football and would bring us a lot of attacking presents down the right hand side. he is also only 29 so he is better long term option and has played against us and manchester united so he has english football experience.

I will cry if he signs Eva
-
Tottenham is the perfect team for him, unfortunately. They also have less 'egos' amongst the team as everyone knows how shit they actually are, aside from Modric, Bale, and arguably a few others. I fear though that Andre will do for them what he said he would do for us. Bring in the youth, find young talented players (such as Romeu) and, although I hate thinking this, pip us to the top 4 again. Our boys better be ready for a fight next season. Can't wait 'till we take 'em on.
-
Not bad. I believe he earns around £120k a week at Inter Milan, unless they gave him a lower-paying contract at some point that I'm unaware of!
-
Here's what someone has to say on my transfer page in the comment section replying to my co-admin's update RE: Maicon: A bit too far?
-
It would seem that Tottenham are trying to sign Damiao to try and replicate what Falcao did at Porto. Don't be fooled guys. The hype surrounding him, the odd Football Manager stats etc. all hide that he is infact a really average player. He's good at scoring in his league, no doubt, but as seen at international level and in friendlies against bigger teams, his movement and decision making are appalling.
-
I really enjoyed reading that. I've noticed that the official CFC website + Twitter account have become a lot more active, 'friendly' in a way and more 'human' feeling (no idea if that'll make sense or not.)
-
Look what I've ordered <3.

Assuming Benayoun and Malouda leave, I believe Maicon will be only the 5th player in the whole squad 30+ years old! (Others being Cech, Cole, Lampard and Terry.) Quite amazing how we've gone from a so-called "team of pensioners" to having one of the lowest amount of 30+ year olds in the league. (I hope we don't go any lower than 5 30+ players though. Experience and leadership is key. Look at Madrid, PSG etc. Madrid, despite ALL that talent, couldn't win the Champions League, as they didn't have that same sort of personality etc. you get with older age. PSG missed out on their league title for the same reason.)
