Is this really something we can throw on Mendy's head? His performances were weaker than the ones in his first season, partly due to injury issues. I didn't read about any attitude issues and didn't notice on games either.

Kova, Jorginho and Kante gone very quickly and suddenly. All of them had their ups and downs and injury issues, but in the last 5 seasons if you watched Chelsea-games, usually 2 out of them appeared on the field, so pretty much feels end of an era.

I don't stress much on GK.. We conceded 47 goals this season(PL), which is not good but pretty much same level as Liverpool, Arsenal or MU. 38 scored goals are way more pathetic though, so it's much more important to get proper striker and midfielders. Kepa is ok, once the team is complete and we need only GK for perfection(like Liverpool few years ago when they bought Alisson) and someone great is available(or Slonina turns out good) then we can invest in a goallie.. But Kepa as no1 should be fine,

Don't expect it too much.. We have new manager, he will not even meet many of the players by 4th of July. I expect many decisions will be made after first few weeks/games of pre-season, like who to release or where to strenghten the squad.

Massive signing. Perfect age, perfect time to step up. Hope he will not have many injury issues.. I like Felix, Mudryk and Madueke, even Havertz, but those guys often seem to have no idea what to do in front of the opponents goal. Nkunku is always looking for goal scoring chances and his end product is very good. I feel he will be big improvement.

There is not much to chase, but this money is something cannot be turned down. Also, he is a muslim guy, living in Saudi Arabia might be appealing to him. Wow, I like this lineup. Result not really important to us, but I hope we can win this, for Lampard. His second managerial spell was all time low, awful. Still, he is the guy for me who I watched growing up, lot of memorable times. His first spell as manager had some good times aswell. I think it's safe to say Lampard will never be Chelsea manager again, after 23 years, he will not represent the club again. It would be good to have one last good moment with Lampard. A win at OT for example 🙂

I hope we don't sell him.. He is not generational talent, but he is doing ok at CB/RCB/RB. Homegrown, young, has PL-experience.. We can't get more than 20-30 millions for him, but replacing with similar player would be similar cost.
